Seriously blown away by this product. ### 5/5 — Unbelievably good *2026-02-25* So the robot itself is incredible, and I recommend it to everyone, but honestly, the quality of their software has me even more mind blown than their robot. From the on boarding through the way each feature is so thoughtfully implemented, it is just incredibly carefully crafted. I'm an extremely happy customer. We have highly trafficked floors with a large family, 4,000 sq ft, 2 levels, and multiple pets and it keeps the floors looking great! It is nice not to have to watch it constantly for fear of it getting stuck or tangled up in something. I have used this little robot daily and asked a lot of it, and it has performed exceptionally, exceeding all expectations. The app is very functional, easy to understand, and makes my life easier. Setting Matic up was simple, and it is now such a joy to watch Matic effortlessly navigate obstacles around the house in real time. Highly polished app for the product being so new. One small gripe, battery drain is pretty heavy. I get it’s doing a lot but for people who spend a lot of time on the app watching it go around, it drains fast! Also when selecting spot clean, having to tap the pencil is a redundant step and a bit of friction that could be reduced by auto selecting it. I get you all still want to let users pan around, but 99% of the time you already are hovering over the area you want to clean. **Developer response:** Thanks so much for your review and for trusting Matic enough to get a second one for your office, that means a lot to us! The map is better than any other map I’ve seen on a consumer product - it’s honestly more accurate than the food delivery maps/trackers! This robot / app are miles ahead. We pretty much never mop / sweep manually now ### 5/5 — Worth Every Penny *2025-07-01* I love my Matic. Positives: + I can see where Matic is currently located in my house. + This app is fantastic and easy to navigate; I’ve even used the “go here” feature as a pseudo courier — carrying small items (empty dinner plate, drinks, snacks, etc.) to other rooms/people. + The app tells me what stage of cleaning Matic is currently at and shows a progress bar with an ETA. Negatives: - My phone gets very hot if the app is left open for more than 5 minutes. - Upon opening the app, UI elements rejigger for half a second. I’m not confident in this assumption, but it feels like everything is custom designed instead of relying on Swift UI/UX which, I think, would result in a smoother experience. Wish List: ★ Dark mode. ★ Let me double tap and slide up/down on the map in order to zoom in/out à la iOS’ Maps[.]app. ★ The app should show how long Matic has been cleaning in addition to its ETA. ★ The app should show the duration of previous jobs in addition to the start/stop time. ★ There should be battery management (show capacity %, show cycle count, set charge limit, optimize charging, set clean energy charge times). I’m curious how/if I’ll replace its battery in the (hopefully) long future. ### 5/5 — Great product *2025-06-19* On boarding is smooth. Easy to use, it creates the 3d map of 2 bhk unit quickly within 2 minutes. We feel like we have a cute helper at home like a pet **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! I can’t say enough good things about it and the company over all. The app does what it needs to do. I enjoy the simple functionality of it. I sent the Matic in for a fix once, and they handled it very well. But my Matic has been unusable for weeks from the app. It constantly says “reloading”, and I can’t direct it at all via the app. Before that, it was disconnecting consistently. I reached out about this but haven’t heard anything yet. I really want to support this product, but my robot vacuum has been unusable for a while now. ### 2/5 — Annoying promotional notifications *2026-02-14, version 1.40* If I pay this much for a vacuum, I should be able to turn on iOS notifications and not have the company send out annoying promotions every month or so ### 2/5 — Not too smart *2025-12-02* No HomeKit, SmartThings, home assistant or matter support. Also, it automatically moves the device’s WiFi connection to the one you’re phone using. No keeping IoT devices in their own network (poor design). Vacuums ok. The room queue editing and map navigation are surprisingly limited, like the developer hasn’t used a smart phone post 2007 or, maybe just forgot to add functionality altogether in the rush to get the product out the door. The robot itself has a lot of potential, but it has a long way to go before its unique qualities can be considered true assets. **Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback. There’s no HomeKit integration there’s no matter integration. There’s generally no integration. There’s no voice control. This robot needs to grow up a lot more before it can compete with the big boys like Eufy Roborock, etc.. **Developer response:** Thanks for your honest feedback - heard! Appreciate you giving us a shot as we continue to grow. ### 4/5 — Great product, but… *2026-07-08* The actual Matic vacuum/mopping bot is great does a great job and my floors are immaculate. However, this app appears to be a huge resource hog. Not only does it use a for bit of memory but I is a HUGE drain on battery of my iPhone 16. Just opening for 5 or less minutes results in a huge temp spike on my phone and at least a 15% depletion of battery. The product is great but the app needs work. ### 4/5 — Love the product, but the app could use some improvement *2026-05-29* App has some performance issues, like sometimes when scrolling the settings page it’s just drops to ~15fps (on iOS26.5, 17ProMax). Other than that it’d be nice to have the ability to have routine presets u can run on-demand with 1 click for custom cleans without having to draw every time or schedule them. And for no-go zones it’d be useful to be able to select recognized areas such as carpets instead of having to carefully outline. It would also be nice if it came back to missed spots at least with the deep clean setting, since it shows them on the map as it’s cleaning, sometimes it misses the middle of its turn around radius but it’s an unobstructed spot and I just have to remember where it was and run a custom clean for it after it’s finished. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Unbelievably amazing *2026-08-15* This thing just works. Kudos on the great work all around. ### 5/5 — I don’t like giving reviews but we are *2026-08-13* This being my first vacuum cleaner, I was hopeful of what it claims it can do. After a little over a couple of months, I don’t regret buying this whatsoever. In fact, my friends and family have been thinking of getting one after hearing me talk about how good vacuum cleaner works and how easy it is to use the app. The company’s commitment to data privacy, the updates to fine tune the robot, its ability to navigate my place, and the overall maintenance were some of the main drivers toward buying this. Also, I love how the app team will throw some cool teasers and features into the app (ex. Have the robot draw stars during July 4th and have animated fireworks go off while it drew). ### 5/5 — Best of the best *2026-08-12, version 1.172.0* Thank you so much. Matic got it right from the very start! ### 5/5 — Wonderfully engineered *2026-07-23* No notes, this has to be one of the most smart and intuitive home cleaning products you can buy. The app is miles ahead of its competitors, from Shark, Dreame, and Roborock. Very easy to use and manage home mapping, schedules, and cleaning. Thank you to the Matic team for all of the hard work on this, it has become such a wonderful product for my home and the app is a joy to use. ### 5/5 — Frictionless. Absolutely LOVE the App interface with Matic Robot *2026-07-06* The live view is the sleeper feature. Watching the robot navigate around our three dogs and their toys while I’m out of the house is genuinely entertaining, and the whole experience is smooth and instant. The robot itself matches the app: it rolled out of its shipping box and greeted our family by name, it’s quiet enough that our dogs are curious instead of scared, and it’s the first robot vacuum I’ve owned that feels like a true robot rather than a vacuum with sensors. Seamless from unboxing to daily use. Outstanding work, Matic team. ### 5/5 — This robot is the best of all *2026-07-06* I picked up a Matic about a month ago and I can’t recommend this enough. After trying almost all the Chinese robots (which is most of them that copied roomba), this is the only robot vacuum that can handle my four dogs and very dirty life. Matic is cleaning in places and in ways no other robot has been able to before.
