## What is Matins?

Matins is a privacy-first alarm and sleep companion for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

Set a wake window and Matins can use available HealthKit sleep-stage history and recent patterns to choose an earlier time inside it. If data is unavailable, the alarm stays at your set time.

If sleep data is not available, Matins keeps your configured alarm time. Smart Wake is an enhancement, not a dependency.

Privacy-first: Matins does not upload alarm, sleep, or dream records to Matins-operated servers. Device backups follow your Apple settings.

Matins Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription:

- Matins Premium Yearly: £27.99 per year

Eligible new subscribers can try the monthly plan free for 7 days or the yearly plan free for 14 days. Introductory-offer eligibility is determined by Apple.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
