## What is Matria?

Your questions have ancestors.

Bring a real question: why you feel guilty when you rest, why your body feels unfamiliar, what you are here to create. Trace it through an archive of women who sat with it before you.

Matria answers from a sourced archive of documented women, ideas, myths, histories and traditions. Every reflection names the women behind it and opens their sources. Where a quotation’s rights are cleared, you read her words. Where they are not, Matria offers an editorial reading and labels it as such. When the archive cannot support your question, it says so plainly.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Ask a lived question, by typing or speaking, and read a reflection with its sources shown.
- Trace the Knowledge Map: women connected across centuries by shared themes and documented relations.
- Open source entries with context, works, and evidence labels, and a clear line between a woman’s own words and Matria’s editorial voice.
- Keep a private journal and a constellation of the women and ideas you follow.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Reading needs no account. Your questions, notes and saved reflections stay on your phone. Nothing about you leaves it.

THE ARCHIVE IS THE AUTHORITY
Evidence labels show how well supported each entry is. Cultural traditions appear as knowledge systems, not prescriptions.

Matria offers sourced reflection. It does not diagnose, predict, or replace medical or psychological care.
