Now over the past couple months since the update the app has been shotty at best. It frequently shuts down everytime I need to log in and shuts down everytime I need to log out. This leads to my managers having to call me almost every shift to make sure that I made it to my client on time. I try to delete and redownload the app multiple times but this does not seem to fix the issue, even when my managers reset my password and log in information. If there is any way to rectify these issues that would be for the better because at the moment I have no good things to say about this app. ### 1/5 — The new update is horrible *2025-01-30, version 2.91.4* The new update is not good! The ones I input on chc don’t show up at all; and some random ones with one client, instead of 3, are scheduled with the most weirdest times listed. ### 1/5 — Clock Out Issues *2024-04-28* Upon obtaining my clients signatures and trying to clock out, Matrix will first claim to have successfully synchronized but sometimes later refreshing the page will show it did not synchronized at all but instead come up as no signature obtain, no tasks done, and still on the clock. Matrix has a problem with clocking out which has constantly created issues with my experience. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2024-04-09, version 2.78.3* Freezes after clicking “sign in”, even after uninstalling and then reinstalling. It is very tedious and annoying to have to call and fix everything the app did not properly sync on top of the app crashing randomly. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — this app sucks *2026-05-09, version 2.94.10* first of all, the app logo on the icon is no longer centered which is just plain ugly. second, i don’t know why i need a passcode on this app when my phone already has a passcode on it. having to change your password every few months is sooo tedious. i don’t know if that’s the app or just the company i work for, but either way i’m sick of it. frequently, checking out just doesn’t process so then i have to do paperwork. really this app is just terrible, and i need it removed from the app store so my job can find a better way to check in and out of work. ### 1/5 — STOP DELETING MY REVIEW *2026-04-15, version 2.94.10* This app never has updates to fix the bug and glitches. At least 2 times a week and clock ins or clock outs are not properly recorded and because of state regulations we are not allowed to edit our shift times. The app glitches and deletes my notes so I have to redo them all. And sometimes you get the white screen of death and you can’t do anything. I’m so sick of it. Its been great and I had no issues. However. This new update, every co-worker who has an IOS connection this issue has occurred. But only if I have a signature. I can skip the process of needing a signature. And the completion process will be fine. I have to uninstall and then reinstall. This happens probably 50-75% of the time I’m using it. ### 2/5 — MatrixCare *2025-03-28, version 2.92.4* This app always has issues. After writing note the save button disappears and you can’t save your notes. You have back out and go back and rewrite your notes. The login page is too big and you can’t touch the 0 button or the x because it’s behind the forgot password link. I loads slowly so you have to wait to see everything. Definitely can be a lot better. ### 2/5 — Not reliable *2025-03-22, version 2.91.4* I’ve had multiple instances where I’ve checked in and at the end of the shift when I go to check out, it didn’t record my check-in! It’s so bad that every time I check in I double check that I’ve checked in . If you have to adjust the time that requires some other extra documentation for work.
