## What is MATTTCHES?

Real connections start with a reason to say hello.

MATTTCHES helps you meet people at real-world events through shared interests, values and life experiences. Get to know yourself, discover common ground and turn an introduction into a face-to-face conversation.

Join an event
Explore available events or join with a code from your organiser. Keep your event plans together and prepare for the people you could meet.

Show what matters to you
Build a private profile through activities about your values, interests, communication style, friendship preferences and life experiences.

Reflect at your own pace
Answer short daily reflections to add depth to your profile, with controls for the topics you prefer to skip.

Find your Golden Thread
Receive match suggestions for an event you share. When you both accept and the scheduled reveal opens, discover who you are meeting, what connects you and a question to get the conversation started. Use the meeting details to find each other in person.

Choose to stay in touch
Each person chooses which contact details to share. When you both select Confirm Connection, your chosen Contact Cards become available to each other. Accepting a match offer does not share your contact details. Revisit saved Contact Cards in the app.

Your privacy matters
Your profile is not publicly browsable. Your original activity answers and reflections are not shown to other members. Matched members receive selected shared context through the reveal journey. Manage matching consent and delete your account in the app.

MATTTCHES is for adults aged 18 and over. Event availability varies, and a completed profile does not guarantee a match.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.11 — 2026-10-02

Improved Courage Tap confirmation and QR backup. The QR code stays available while your match confirms, making it easier to complete your connection together.

### 1.0.10 — 2026-09-26

Fixed the reflection controls on Home so Submit and Skip controls are visible. Skipping a general question now preserves any separate event reflection that is still due. We also simplified the Home reflection layout.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-25

This update makes onboarding, profile setup, and daily reflections more reliable. It fixes cases where a question could stay preparing after your answer was saved. You can choose to share masked session replays to help us investigate app problems, and change that choice later in Profile > Account & Data. Crash diagnostics are also improved.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-15

Fixes an onboarding issue that could prevent people from continuing after ranking their interests.

• All five interests and passion indicators stay visible.
• Reordering returns to the summary for review before continuing.
• Saving and retry behavior is more reliable.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-10

A refreshed MATTTCHES experience, from self-discovery to meeting in person.

• Updated profile activities and daily reflections.
• Clearer event plans and match introductions.
• Golden Threads and conversation starters to help you say hello.
• Confirm Connection: exchange your chosen Contact Cards only after you both confirm.
