Sehr gute Geschichten rund um die Mauer, interessant aufbereitet. Besonders das man Zeitzeugen in Kombination mit historischem Material nachfolgen kann macht Gänsehaut. Das ist Geschichte zum Anfassen. ### 5/5 — Spannend, emotional und informativ *2015-01-04, version 1.0.3* Eine auf höchstem Niveau gestaltete und äußerst originelle Geschichts-App, deren volles Potential sich allerdings erst mit den über den Seitenscreen herunterladbaren Touren (oft kostenpflichtig) vor Ort zeigt. Man folgt den Zeitzeugen tatsächlich an die Orte ihrer persönlichen Erlebnisse. Anders als in vergleichbaren Apps gelingt es so, Geschichte nicht tröge über Fakten wie in einem Schulbuch, sondern packend und ergreifend über die Stories der Zeitzeugen zu erzählen. Selbst für mich, der ich im History-Bereich arbeite, ist das eine erfrischend neue Art der Geschichtsvermittlung. Die zusätzlichen Archivvideos, die die damalige Stimmung bzw. das ehemalige Stadtbild wieder sichtbar machen, stellen dabei selbst "Live-Führungen" in den Schatten, machen die App allerdings auch recht groß. Alles in allem: Eine bessere Art der historischen Stadtführung kenne ich bisher kaum. ### 5/5 — Für den Spaziergang super! *2014-11-11, version 1.0.2* Gerade beim Mauerspaziergang ausprobiert: Tolle Eindrücke, so haben wir Berlin noch nie zuvor gesehen. Zeitzeugentouren sind gut, lohnt sich aber vor allem vor Ort wegen der Augmented-Reality-Effekte. ### 4/5 — Coole Idee *2014-11-11, version 1.0.2* Und dann sieht man, wie es am Potsdamer Platz wahr, als die Mauer aufging und die Grenzer noch den Schienenverkehr beobachteten. Dazu Zeitzeugen auch an anderen Orten der Zeitgeschichte. Leute, die was zu sagen haben. Moderne, multimediale Stadtführung. ### 5/5 — Zeitreise-Maschine! *2014-11-11, version 1.0.2* Ich fühle mich wie Marty McFly ;) Habe die App gerade als Empfehlung gesehen und herunter geladen. Sollte man nur im Wlan machen - App ist groß. Stecken aber halt auch viele tolle Videos drin. Das braucht eben auch Platz. Genial ist die Augmented Reality Funktion. Sehr hochwertig produziert. So verwandelt sich das Handy tatsächlich in ein Tor zur Vergangenheit. Schaut krass aus. Ich freu mich auf die Touren mit meiner Familie und gebe eine klare Downloadempfehlung ab, wenn man sich ein bisschen für die Berliner und Deutsche Historie interessiert. ### 5/5 — Grossartige App !! *2014-11-10, version 1.0.2* Es wurde Zeit, dass es endlich ein App gibt mit der man 25 Jahre zurück in die spannenden alten Berliner Zeiten 'eintauchen' kann. Die App an sich bietet eine gelungene Mischung aus Texten und Filmen, die man sich am besten 'live vor Ort' an den historischen Orten der Berliner Mauer anschauen sollte. Einziges Manko ist die Grösse von mehreren hundert Megabyte, die viel an Speicherplatz beansprucht. Dennoch lautet mein Fazit: Unbedingt downloaden und kaufen!! ### 1/5 — Unverschämt teuer *2014-11-09, version 1.0.2* App selbst kann man zwar kostenlos laden, aber die In-App-Angebote sind aus meiner Sicht völlig überteuert. So kann man als Gratis-App zwar schnell die Charts stürmen, aber das war es dann auch schon. Gelöscht! ### 2/5 — "Laden 0/27"? *2014-11-08, version 1.0.2* Man startet die App und sie fängt ohne Nachfrage an, irgendwelche Daten zu laden - wieviel, das erfährt man nicht. Dabei ist die App selbst schon so riesig... Gleich wieder gelöscht, es gibt eine komplett kostenlose vom Ministerium für politische Bildung, die es besser macht. ### 5/5 — Must-do and a must-have *2014-09-21* This app is an absolute Berlin must do and must have. The premise is simple - via the app time witnesses (ie people who lived through communist times) tell their adventurous stories related to the wall in short video sequences. On top of that you have a gps-enabled map you show you around important historical sites. My girlfriend and I felt rarely so captured and moved back in time. We both felt that we truly 'experienced' Berlin with its history and it left a lasting impression on both of us. I wasn't able to do all tours during my short visit but am already planning my next visit to complete the other tours. The only disadvantage is that the app is in German.
