### 5/5 — Suggestions

*2024-05-24*

Amazing app and great instructional material to learn how to play chess. Would be nice to have more puzzles or give the option to use own pgn to puzzle rush

### 3/5 — No additions? No updates?

*2022-09-19, version 1.2.2*

I thought this app was going to receive “frequent updates” and new features along the way. No update in over a year… I didn’t mind paying for the app initially, but now I’m kinda wondering why I did. I thought there would be much more to this app, or much more coming?? Does the developer respond??

### 1/5 — Poor app

*2021-12-12, version 1.2.2*

I had high hopes. I’m only on lesson two and the puzzles aren’t working.

### 4/5 — Almost 5 stars

*2021-09-15, version 1.2.2*

Loads of fun and very instructional. I would give it 5 stars if the ‘easy’ match for playing a game was truly easy, but it’s not.

### 4/5 — Commentary audio

*2021-05-12, version 1.2.2*

Just wanted to share that it took me several minutes to figure out why I couldn’t hear Maurice talking after the latest update. It seems strange that the update made the default setting to mute his commentary during the lessons. Without his commentary you can’t tell what’s going on. It also seemed to say it was set to subtitles, but I didn’t see any subtitles.

Otherwise I’ve greatly enjoyed learning from this app so far.

### 5/5 — Expand your mind

*2021-05-06, version 1.2.2*

A great app for keeping your brain sharp. And you learn some chess along the way. Also, thanks for making the adjustment to make the clock visible in the skill builders on my iPhone 7.

### 4/5 — Bugs

*2021-02-17, version 1.0.4*

I played a match against the easy level bot and ended up being able to capture black’s king.

### 5/5 — Superb and so much fun!!

*2021-02-06, version 1.0.4*

I am not a chess player but this app definitely peaked my interest. Love the skill builder function to teach the basics. I feel motivated when Maurice trash talks me. 😂😂😂

### 5/5 — Get this app!

*2021-02-05, version 1.0.4*

I got this right when I started playing and it really helped me to see the entire board. The puzzles are great and skill builders are unique to chess learning apps. They are challenging in all the best ways. I can’t recommend this app enough if you want to improve your chess.

### 5/5 — This app will add 100 ELO points to your rank

*2021-02-04, version 1.0.4*

And probably more if you’re under 1500
The skill builder games are amazing! With daily play, you will completely understand how pieces move and interact. Never again will you be unclear how that knight, is going to move.
