## What is MausamNow?

MausamNow answers the question you actually have: is it going to rain where I am?

Most weather apps show you one model's guess for your whole city. MausamNow works at your exact location and shows you what is really happening right now, using live rain gauges from IMD automatic weather stations, weather radar, satellite imagery and airport reports.

WHAT YOU GET

Rain right now. A plain answer about your location, backed by the nearest ground station and radar, not just a forecast.

Rain timeline. Hour by hour for today and tomorrow, so you know when a spell starts and when it eases.

Seven day forecast. Nine public weather models compared, so you can see where they agree and where they do not. Agreement means confidence.

IMD warnings. Official India Meteorological Department alerts for your district, including separate warnings for ghat areas.

Stations across India. Live rainfall from around 1200 automatic weather stations, official 24 hour totals, air quality from CPCB stations, and reservoir levels.

Air quality. Live AQI from the nearest monitoring station.

HOW IT IS DIFFERENT

We publish how accurate each forecast model has been for India, so you can judge the forecast instead of trusting it blindly.

Data comes from IMD, ISRO MOSDAC, CPCB and global forecast models.
