## What is Mavaul?

Hide photos and videos in an encrypted vault that stays on your iPhone. No account, no ads, no cloud by default. Disguise it as a working calculator.

Mavaul is a private photo and video vault for iPhone. Every photo and video is encrypted on your device with AES-256. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to back it up, and Mavaul never keeps a copy.

FEATURES
- AES-256 encryption on your iPhone for every photo and video
- Face ID or passcode, and the vault locks when you leave
- Calculator vault: the app opens as a working calculator, and your passcode on the keypad gets you in
- Custom app icons: a calculator, a cat, a PDF, a tape measure and more
- Folders to organise, move and copy what you hide
- Fast gallery and slideshow for photos and videos
- Wi-Fi Share: open the vault on your computer, iPad or TV over your home network
- Optional encrypted backup to Dropbox, Nextcloud, any WebDAV server or Files
- A recovery key for every vault, so a forgotten passcode doesn't lock you out

ONLY ON YOUR IPHONE
Your library is stored on your iPhone, encrypted. There is no Mavaul account and no Mavaul server holding your photos. Backups are optional, encrypted before they leave the phone, and go to a place you choose.

HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT
Turn on the calculator vault and Mavaul looks and works like a calculator. Type your passcode on the keypad to open the vault. With Premium, change the home screen icon to a calculator, a cat, a bottle of hot sauce, a PDF, a painting and more. The disguise changes how Mavaul looks; your photos are protected by the same passcode and encryption either way.

WI-FI SHARE, NO INTERNET NEEDED
Open a link on any device on your network to view, upload, download, move and delete files. Nothing leaves your home network.

IF YOU FORGET YOUR PASSCODE
Every vault gets a recovery key at setup. With Premium you can also email the key to yourself, after a confirmation code checks the address.

FREE AND PREMIUM
Free: up to 30 photos and videos, encryption, Face ID, folders, the calculator vault and Wi-Fi Share.
Premium: no limit, encrypted backup, email recovery, custom app icons, light and crop adjustments, and a longer lock delay.

Full-screen slideshows, shuffle, and a choice of progress indicator.

New

• Shuffle: tap the button as a slideshow starts to play your photos in a random order. Premium.
• Choose how the time to the next photo shows: a ring, a thin line, or nothing. Premium.

Improved
• Zoom in moves at a steady pace and cuts cleanly to the next photo.
