Randomly, the app refuses to send notifications, I check all the setting to ensure nothing would block it, everything checks out, the app just decided I no longer needed to be notified. ### 2/5 — Meine Güte - wie lange noch? *2026-02-16, version 2.6.1* Wann kommt endlich die korrekte bildhafte Animation für das Flügeltor, wann der Fußgängermodus für das Flügeltor, wann die Animation für das Rolltor? Now with the recent update just gives the option to arrow down or up. I ride a motorcycle and car doesn’t have homelink, both of these would greatly improve my usability. Great product though. WLAN ist zwar nicht zu stark, aber schaltet die Garage sofort. Super. Was mir noch fehlt: HomeKit oder Kurzbefehle Unterstützung oder eine API mit der ich den Stick /Motor in Smart Home einbinden kann. Was für mich ein Kaufgrund für den Connect Stick war kann ich nun aber nicht in der App finden - die Möglichkeit Maveo an mein SmartHome via TCP anzubinden… bitte helft! ### 2/5 — Garage opener blues stick *2025-02-24, version 2.5.0* Biggest complaint is App will update or at random will loose devices. Then I have to add back in to app and reprogram for each garage door opener. A real pain when you need to let someone in to access garage and all of a a sudden an opener that has been on app for months is suddenly no longer in existence on app. App is great when working or not randomly removing device. ### 1/5 — Constant disconnection *2025-01-28, version 2.5.0* The blue stick constantly is removed from my application and I’m always having to reset it. It is very cumbersome and not a good product at all. Im Auto würde ich mir die Anwendung über CarPlay oder auch die direkte Öffnungssteuerung über Siri wünschen. You have to physically launch the app in order to see the status. It would be great to see the app get re-worked to allow the ability for notifications. ### 1/5 — Not great first impressions *2024-12-27, version 2.5.0* Installed it, paired it up fine, sent an open command and now it's looping on the open command it successfully sent and I can't close the garage door on the app anymore. I cannot send any other commands after my first one since it thinks the door is still opening. Not great. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Nicht zu Ende gedacht bei der Entwicklung *2026-05-15, version 2.6.1* Die App an sich funktioniert, aber was bringt sie einem, wenn man im Auto sitzt und sein Tor dann über den Fahrzeug-Bildschirm nicht aufrufen kann, da die Entwickler nicht an die Integration in CarPlay gedacht haben. Somit benötigt man noch immer die dusseligen Handsender und alles sprechen von Digitalisierung. Schade wenn man bei der Entwicklung pennt. Auf eine EMail bisher keine Reaktion! Zumindest die Version 1.2.0 bietet keine Option, die Zwischenpositionen manuell oder zeitgesteuert anzusteuern! Kein Widget, keine Watch-Unterstützung! Von Homekit ganz zu schweigen! Viel Luft nach oben-da bleibe ich bei Meross! ### 1/5 — Can’t tell if garage door is open or not *2025-11-25, version 2.6.1* One of the worst app I have. We used it to open and close garage door. Sometime when we come back home we find the garage door is open. The app does not even tell you if the garage door is open or close. We had MyQ and could easily tell if garage door is open or not. It also deletes devices after every update and it’s incredibly hard for a disabled person to find a way to climb up to get to the opener to push the little button on the stick to add it back each time, garage door openers aren’t on the floor. I was also told this was CarPlay compatible when I got it but clearly it is not. The notification to open door when arriving home would be more convenient to show on the CarPlay screen of a vehicle than to try to unlock and use a phone while driving. ### 1/5 — Poor App *2025-10-29, version 2.6.0* No status or history. Bought the stick on line and I had it running on my phone in 5-6 minutes. It took me longer to figure out my internet password than it did for the install. It has really come a long way since the beginning. It opens and loads quickly. It works as advertised. I enjoy the visual layout of the screen, as well as the functionality. I activated the geofence feature and it is really neat. I have several friends and acquaintances whom I’ve helped set it up in their own homes. It’s quick and easy.
