## What is Mawj?

Mawj is a private AI workspace for chat, documents, images, and voice notes. It is designed around local processing: your conversations, imported documents, images, and microphone recordings stay on your device for AI processing.

Use Mawj to:
- Chat with local AI models on supported devices
- Import PDFs, text, Markdown, RTF, DOC, and DOCX files
- Ask questions about your documents with local retrieval
