I tried reinstalling, restarting my phone, checking settings, and even tested it on a second iPhone with the same result. The remote app feature was the main reason I bought the generator, but it is unusable. One suggestion: On the control page the on/off button is positioned at the bottom left- where one might swipe up on the iPhone to switch apps. Too many times I’ve swiped up to switch apps and mistakenly turned off the heater. Then I have to wait for it to fully go through the shut down phase before I can turn it on again. You have to keep binding the heater on a regular basis. Annoying. The heater in winter won’t start you have to heat up the sensor then it will start. My only complaint although very small is that every time I open the app, it always wants me to migrate my device from the old MXR app. Not sure how to fix that.
