Overall it has improved efficiency and I am quite satisfied with it. I probably don't make use of all the available features. The seven members of our group all use it, as far as I know but we don't use many of the grid features. I've noticed that in the most recent version, inactivating patients doesn't work - they reappear after syncing. This needs to be fixed because my patient view is getting clogged with patients that have been discharged and billed long ago. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2014-01-16, version 2.7.2* Thanks for creating the app. :) Andy ### 4/5 — Needs Inpatient/outpatient entry *2012-02-07* I am in the middle of the free trial, and definitely like this product. It is been very helpful to keep track of my inpatients, as well as quickly coming up with codes quickly to log in my surgical procedures. I also like that I can take a snapshot of the facesheet, and my biller can expand it in order to view the information. My biggest complaint is that there is no prompt to enter whether the procedure was done as an inpatient or outpatient. For now, the only way to enter this information is to manually place it in the notes. If I forget, my biller has to separately contact me to ask for this information. That defeats the purpose of having a charge capture tool. There needs to be a way to create a prompt to enter this when you enter the demographics, or even when you enter the ICD-9 and CPT codes. ### 5/5 — a great app *2011-08-25* I see this app as a means of greatly enhancing efficiency and productivity. The trial version gave me an opportunity to evaluate all its functions and make an informed decision about this product. The best feature is the ability to take pictures and record audio notes that can be immediately synced to my biller and office assistant.. Highly recommend it. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2011-02-16* Just started using this app in our business. Great way to increase efficiency! Able to sync and update patient information immediately with business administrator and biller in the office while seeing patients at the hospital. Easy way too search and add ICD & CPT codes. Creates "memory" of commonly used codes for easy selecting. Can add photos and audio also. No longer have to keep pockets full of face sheets and patient information, it can all be entered into the app and conveniently accessed when needed. Alerted immediately when new consults added. ### 5/5 — MaxRVU is a good product *2011-01-03* I found maxRVU a joy to use. The user interface is very simple but elegant. I like the simple functionality of the app and it does charge capture well. I work in a hospital and have many satellite clinics and MaxRVU allows me to easily look up my ICD 9 and CPT codes so that I can capture my charge codes easily and efficiently for my procedures and clinic patients. I can than review my weekly and monthly RVU's and compare my relative production from previous months as well as look for any lost charges that the hospital may have dropped off. ### 5/5 — Maxrvu iphone app *2011-01-02, version 1.0* "I have a very busy practice which requires me to go to several facilities in a day. What's brilliant about the iPhone app is that as soon as I walk into the facility, my pt list for that facility pops up. I can take pictures of the pt chart and record audio notes for my biller about the particular about the case. Tons of bugs, slow down, really frustrating to use on my iPhone. Spread sheet was easier Way to complicated Plus Initial download of app took 6 weeks to realize it was bogus! I saw a list of patients and unknown hospitals A nightmare!! Could not delete Tried to add my pts but could not add Successfully. So I am very far behind in documenting visits But dates are off and took forever to find out how to delete duplicate visits I do not recommend this app At all **Developer response:** We are so sorry you feel this way. Per communication between you and our support desk, it looks like you were logged in to our demo app instead of your account. The demo account is meant for prospective users and not for our subscribers. Hopefully, now that you have logged in to your account and received help from our support desk you are having a much more positive experience. Searching through CPT or ICD-10 codes can be complicated due to incomprehensible abbreviations. I like the hospitals sticker scan feature and so far the workflow has provided just the right amount of detail. Everything gets sent right to my biller. With MaxRVU I can charge before I leave the room and the app keeps track of how many cases, charges, and breaks out my most used codes! Also there is a bundling and favorites feature that is awesome! No more searching for codes all the time or waiting to get them from the doctors! It has the ICD9 codes in the app and it maps to the ICD10s!! This app works great for a single owner/user as well as for large groups! There is even encrypted texting between members. Once charged it goes straight to the biller and they can file right away! Who doesn't like faster reimbursements?!
