Opening my gif folder just crashes after it spends about 15 seconds attempting to load them all. Anyway, before this update, I would have given MaxVault 5 stars but I am now currently looking for an alternative. I hope they fix this soon. ### 3/5 — Please fix new update. *2026-07-09, version 7.3.1* Latest update now causes browser to become unresponsive after app switching. ### 4/5 — Très bonne application *2026-01-24* Très bonne appli. ### 4/5 — great app *2025-10-24* I used another app for many years to keep important images. that app went to way of many - probably profitable but the developers topped updating it and it seemed they were just coasting while it got buggier and its feature set seemed smaller and smaller compared to others. This app does everything I need and it is great. There are two things I would suggest fixing or adding 1) Better handling of file import. The web browser over wifi is very slow for importing and importing using a USB device often made the app quit - especially with lots of smaller files like during migration from my old file app to this one. 2) More sorting options for ordering files. Having just import date and update date is limiting because effectively it becomes when the file was uploaded to the app. I suggest also ordering by "created date" or "modified date" with the act of importing not affecting these dates. ### 3/5 — browser needs updating *2025-10-08* The built in browser is so out of date and needs updating, lots of sites do not work properly. Of course it’s great for hiding photos and files, but it has some tremulously useful organization features. You can have folder inside folders inside folders inside folder… The tag feature allows you identify photos inside multiple folders and then you can use a “Smart Folder” to display only the photos that have the specific tag! IMO the pricing is absolutely ridiculous for what this app does, and it reflects poorly on the App Store that it’s filled up these days with such exorbitantly priced applications. ### 1/5 — Was great, but now just ads *2026-07-14, version 7.3.2* This says always been one of my favorite applications. But this latest release, now all they do is constantly show ads. And he can’t even get out of the ads, even if you hit the X, the ad won’t disappear. I’m forced to have to kill the app and restart it. Max Vault got everything right. The importing is flawless. The WIFI importing/exporting is an added bonus and works like a charm. Highly recommend this app if you’re tired of screwing around with ametuers.
