It’s not intuitive to navigate and the tips/education are not helpful. I give it two stars because the 3D modeling is interesting, but not at all worth the money I paid. I regret paying for it. The explore tab keeps bugging and I have no access to search for articles, which was the whole point of getting this app. I am on the most recent version, I have closed the app and restarted it and I’ve restarted my phone and still nothing. It keeps suggesting to contact technical support but I have no contact information for them??? The only option is to chat with an ai bot who doesn’t have the necessary preset options available. The only way to reach someone is to provide feedback and even then, I have not heard back. Don’t waste your money. **Developer response:** We’re very sorry about this — especially since Explore and article search were one of the main reasons you subscribed. We completely understand how frustrating it is to pay for the app and then be unable to use an important feature despite already trying all the usual troubleshooting steps. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. ### 1/5 — Extremely frustrating *2026-08-10* You have to create an account to begin using the app, which is already frustrating because I hate having yet another login to remember and getting spammed with emails, and then when you finally do login you have to go through an extensive unskippable survey, to only find out at the very end you need to pay to unlock almost everything. The information we ask for is used to personalize May’s content and recommendations to your stage of pregnancy or your child’s age, but we understand that the process can feel too long and restrictive. May includes free content and features, while some services require a subscription. We agree that this should be completely clear before users invest time in setting up their account, and your feedback on this is very valuable to us. Thank you for sharing your experience. ### 1/5 — No free trial *2026-08-07* App advertised free trial to me so I downloaded to try it out. There was no free trial and it charged me immediately for a full year. When I finally after 30 minutes found a way to contact “a person” to inquire they said there was nothing they could do and it was apples problem to resolve . **Developer response:** We’re sorry for the confusion and frustration this caused. May does offer a 7-day free trial, but we also occasionally offer a discounted annual plan that does not include a free trial. This is indicated on the App Store subscription screen before the purchase is confirmed. There’s so many baby apps that I wanted to test a few out, and actually decided that I like a different one better, but they immediately charged me for the year price. The app store will not refund me either. Definitely needed that money for the upcoming baby. Save your money- use the app Preggers. Fraction of the price and better info. It will take you through many steps and none of it works. It will give you a cheaper price but still force charge you and doesn’t provide cancellation.
