I really tried to give this a good go. It feels like it would be in my wheel house. It was well received by people with similar taste to me. But this was a snooze fest from the get go. I decided to really give this a chance but honestly this is game where I find myself dying to boredom more than anything. After the five minute mark I just wanted to die and do something else. 

I honestly don’t know what about this is meant to be enjoyable. There just isn’t anything here. I wouldn’t say it’s difficult. Boredom always felt like my biggest challenge.

Nettes Spiel für zwischendurch. ABER für 6€ muss das besser sein. Steuerung etwas schwammig man läuft oft ungewollt zurück und stirbt , Textfelder nicht 100%tig platziert und die Erfolge sind eher lieblos oder funktionieren nicht „1%“. Vielleicht einfach nochmal drüber schauen, dann gibt es auch einen Stern mehr.

### 3/5 — A great game with poor mobile controls/UI

First off I enjoy this concept, the gameplay loop, much of the style, and the developer’s other work! I’m happy to have supported development with or without more content.

But I can’t lie, the mobile port is sorely lacking. Many buttons (including directional control surfaces) are too small to click reliably and several important UI elements are off screen or layered under others (iPhone SE 2020) causing consistent issues. Its not just screen scaling either, I’m certain the UI would leave a lot to be desired on PC as well and stylistically it clashes with most of the beautiful game art. The movement system seems like it doesn’t know whether it’s trying to be SuperHot or a tile-based crawler and unfortunately has become the worst of both, which when mixed with the level of imprecision in the controls has caused dozens of unintended and completely avoidable deaths. I would guess that too much effort has gone into making a faithful port of the PC version but mobile games inherently require their own control schemes and gameplay considerations.

I can see this easily being a 5 star, but it simply is not there yet.

Le,jeu est super, mais le portage semble avoir été rushé/baclé: les coin ronds semblent « manger » du contenu prévu pour un coin carré, les flèches de directions de deux côté, même pas une option pour en avoir une seule ou diriger au doigt…
Dommage
Peut être un patch plus tard pour améliorer ça ? 🤞

The game is fun BUT has some issues. First of all everything is so tiny. I can deal with it but to add to the issue the d-pad overlays get in the way of the bottom corners and you can’t see what’s going on there. I’d love a way to customize them or even just a smaller joystick option. Maybe even a swipe or just touch with no overlay option.

Game is fun but the clunky controls and landscape nature leave a lot left to be desired but it’s just a port of the steam version of the game. Wish it would’ve gotten a little more thought to be portrait as the game doesn’t need the complexity of landscape.

Maze mice is a simple yet amazing game where the focus is to not get caught by cats, whether those cats are alive, or ghosts. You collect dots like in PAC-man so that you may upgrade your mouse with different utilities and weapons to help you survive longer. Overall a fun game, definitely worth $5! Hopefully we can eventually see new content, but game is good.   😊👍

Ein weiterer Geniestreich vom Dev des grandiosen Luck be a Landlord. Maze Mice verbindet das Leveldesign von Pac-Man mit dem Upgrade-System von Horde Survivor Spielen à la Vampire Survivors und würzt das ganze mit einer Prise Superhot, das heißt, Zeit läuft nur, wenn man sich bewegt. Das Ganze ergibt ein einzigartiges, extrem unterhaltsames und süchtig machendes Spiel, das sich wie ein Arcade-Klassiker anfühlt. Eines meiner Lieblingsreleases dieses Jahr.
