Instead, this storyline involved bridging the gap between two worlds, and the age-old dichotomy of lightness versus darkness. The graphics were beautiful, although they did lack some clarity, making certain HO scenes a bit difficult to complete. Inventory usage of course contained the usual suspects, but not to a ridiculous degree. Support has been listening! There were several tools that were innovative as well. General gameplay was enjoyable, with a plethora of tasks at each location. We were able to crack codes, paint, formulate potions and cast spells, and conquer a maze and a labyrinth. So the mini-games were thankfully not all of the boring rotational ilk. The HO scenes had a decent variety, from silhouettes, to find and use one object to unlock another, from word lists to placing objects in the correct spot, and more. Finally, the quality assurance was quite good, except for a slight lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface. The game was a bit brief, but since I don’t pay why complain about it? My true rating will be 4.5 stars, and I have not rated a Domini game this highly in a very long time. It seems like Support is paying attention, as are the Creative Team and the new Quality Assurance staff member. Also, the App Store said that if Oleg did not improve his quality assurance vastly, he would be banned from publishing games in the United States. So all of my correspondence did not go unheeded and we received a wonderful game. Happy holidays to all! We will receive 3 Christmas games in the middle of December from Domini, Elephant and Friendly Fox. So we can expect an enjoyable Christmas season. I want to acknowledge my wonderful Dream Team Elite, for supporting me in my endeavors to make this genre better and better. We still have a long way to go, but I have another deal on the table (not with Oleg) and I hope it comes to fruition. Oleg should have released EIPIX, and when my deal occurs, he will realize that not doing so was a grave mistake. He really could have banked revenue with those games here on iOS. Too bad! Have a nice day! ### 3/5 — *sigh* Here we go again *2022-11-24, version 1.0.1* The game was much more expensive, as you pay $8 and another dollar for yet another tier, though both were labeled “deluxe”. Yeah, right. That wasn’t nearly as aggravating as the bonus chapter glitch of not being able to put the saddle on the Pegasus figure. Way too many ads. An ad will just pop up in the middle of the game, then the ads are dump long, 89 seconds and then there’s another ad! Stupid! ### 1/5 — Bore *2023-07-11, version 1.0.3* Constant 5 sec delays are childish making it boring. Deleted ### 1/5 — Mini puzzles - how to ruin a game *2023-02-10, version 1.0.3* Not sure why this has to happen, bad enough with episodes for new games - but I don’t appreciate when clicking on a part of a mini puzzle that is wrong and I have to wait seconds before I can continue. Don’t like it and don’t appreciate it. If the developers think that’s the way forward then they need to think again. This behaviour has ruined the game and all I can do is skip. Waste of money. UPDATE - I was asked if I cared to update - the game might have been updated but it’s still a shame that the stupid time out business is still in place. It ruins the game if an area of the mini puzzle isn’t correct, or it is correct but the game still times out until it’s ready to allow the mini puzzle to continue. ### 1/5 — So frustrating *2022-11-26* I’ve just about quit buying Domini games. I don’t like the episode format nor the FTP games. I don’t find the “Deluxe” versions worth the extra dollar since, as Lynx has pointed out, the games all use the same cookie cutter. It seems that early purchasers are functioning as beta testers as games are rarely glitch free when first released. So, I should have known better. Bought the game (NOT the deluxe) and sure enough hit a glitch: gather all the components to mend the ship’s sail and nothing happens. So, I am stuck until a new release, or two, or three. BTW it seems once an old game is released as FTP, then that game on my iPad becomes FTP too. Some vendors have both formats, apparently not this vendor. **Developer response:** Hello! The story line was interesting and the graphic’s are bright and enchanting. This is the longest game you as developer’s have made in a while and even the Bonus chapter was lengthy. I also enjoyed the games and puzzles which were logical and easy to complete. ### 5/5 — Can download but can’t purchase in the U.S.? *2022-11-23* I downloaded this and was drawn in immediately. I could tell it was a newer release by the graphics and how interactive it was. Played for a while and was really excited to buy the deluxe version, but the money symbol wasn’t in USD and I wasn’t able to complete the purchase. For the deluxe or standard version. I’m bummed. Giving 5 stars because this is probably just an issue with the launch and I’m sure it’ll get sorted. These games are all so good and are worth the few dollars to be distracted for a while. I don’t want to be someone who throws off your rating scale right at the beginning. Side note, and this is just a pet peeve on my part, the banner that comes up on the left of the screen when a special item is found was staying on the screen for about 10 seconds - which was too long for me. Not sure if that was on purpose but I think it’s normally about half that. Thanks for producing so many great games and I hope this one becomes available for sale in the U.S. soon. There are many Domini games that I adore, especially the Secret City series (hint-hint) but I take exception at this new mandatory extra-tap penalty thing. I play games to relax, so timers, scoring and penalties are a big turnoff. I noted that the updated games have that same boring match-3 alternative game. If you’re going to have one for all the games, at least make it cute or something. :-) **Developer response:** Hello! The only thing that I do not like is the 5 second waiting time when there were no hints or instructions.
