### 1/5 — Full of errors

*2026-05-29*

DO NOT USE this app to study Yiddish. The Yiddish-language content — folktales and jokes — is unintelligible, and the text-to-speech is equally so (plus, it uses a disrespectful voice clone of Beyle Schaechter-Gottesman z”l). Almost all content is obviously AI generated and inaccurate to the degree that it would actively hinder users trying to learn the Yiddish language. נישט קיין מזל דא.

**Developer response:** Hi Bracha. We have removed the voice from the app and are working with the Yiddish community on finding a new narrator and improving content overtime - I am a solo developer and pronunciations will improve overtime once a good Yiddish narrator is in the app 🙂

### 5/5 — Great app!

I love being able to find so much information in one place…. History, recipes, stories and more!

### 5/5 — My review

I enjoy the proverbs and sayings and hearing the Yiddish translations. Most of which I have not heard since I was a kid
