### 4/5 — Update needed

*2023-07-08*

The 6 new stops on the Green Line have not yet been added to the map; nor have the ETAs for those stops been added to the schedule.

### 4/5 — Useful

*2019-07-20, version 2.1.2*

Helpful. Easy to read and follow. I used it with along side the bus lines. There is another app that does both and helps plan routes using sub and bus lines together. For just sub travel ,it works just fine.

### 4/5 — BostonTMap Review

*2019-02-09, version 2.1.1*

This is a very nice app! It provides me with the necessary information to get around(and be a train nerd). Although, it’s does need an open Government Center station and Boston Landing Commuter Rail Station. It is also missing the Silver Line 3 to Chelsea.

### 4/5 — Accurate. Simple. Needs a tiny bit more.

*2018-04-16, version 2.0.2*

Simple and easy to use and quite accurate. Definitely needs a refresh button so you do not have to click back and forth. And some quick updates on some station information that no longer exists, i.e. closures and construction.

### 4/5 — Great app UI

*2018-01-01, version 2.0.2*

Very easy to use; but need to update to work with iPhone X screen dimensions.

### 4/5 — Easy to use! But...

*2017-10-01, version 2.0.2*

This app is very easy to use, its navigation is simplistic, and it is very accurate, although not perfectly. It does need an update, however, on the map. It still claims that Government Center is closed for renovations, but it reopened in 2016. Plus, the schedules aren’t consistently updated. For example, it could say the next inbound red line train to Ashmont is 6 minutes away, then you could leave for a few days and it would say the same thing. The only way it’s updated is if you go back to the schedule choosing page and then forward again. However, besides these issues, it is quite a useful tool if you are in the Boston area. Trust me, driving in downtown Boston is not fun, so you’ll definitely want to take the T, and this app will help you out.

### 4/5 — Very Useful

*2017-09-21, version 2.0.2*

I travel to the Boston area on business and find this a very handy resource.

### 5/5 — Simple and easy to read

*2017-09-03, version 2.0.2*

Clear picture, easy to navigate. Really nice app.

### 5/5 — Very simple. Just what you need

*2017-09-02, version 2.0.2*

Very simple map. It's so frills, to the point.

### 4/5 — Good but missing stuff

*2017-08-22, version 2.0.2*

This is a great app but it shows the silver line yet never mentions it or where it goes. I was needing info on SL1 and it was lacking! Red/Orange/Green/Blue info seems pretty good!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-08-19, version 2.0.2*

Great overview map and current schedule fir all stations

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — doesn’t pin “you are here”

*2023-06-04*

hello there’s all kinds of maps of system but how does it correlate to what the street names are. I had no clue where I was and if or when I did figure that out. how i. the world am I supposed to know where the subway stations are your stations need to reference the street names so that both maps. street maps amd subway maps will correlate. even better have them overlap and integrate.

### 1/5 — Legend

*2019-06-07, version 2.1.2*

What about a legend to go by? I have no idea of the times and the arrows. Am I looking at inbound or outbound? Perhaps it’s all about the direction of the arrow but if I don’t know which arrow means then?? I loaded this looking for orange line info. I gotta notta!! And the ads at the bottom make it impossible to even load the green line. Come on, get with it!!

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2016-05-15, version 2.0.2*

Great graphics, but a "from here to there" feature would help....something like a GPS. Put in where you want to get to and from where and app will give you the directions and what line to take.

### 2/5 — iPhone 7. All updates in place

*2019-04-10, version 2.1.1*

The app closes and goes back to phone’s home page when I click on on the detail for the red, green and orange line. The blue line works. Yes I rebooted and deleted and downloaded the app again.

### 3/5 — Could be good but one big issue

*2024-04-17*

I love the idea of this app and I love the map that shows the train lines and the stops, however when ever I try to find it by a line it does t work it shows the different lines but you can’t choose one, and thats how it’s supposed to work . I have uninstalled and reinstalled still cannot use the individual lines can only use the map if this were fixed if give it a 5 star

### 3/5 — Needs update

*2022-12-05, version 2.1.2*

Needs to be updated for the new Green Line stops in Somerville.

### 3/5 — Good but updates needed

*2019-05-09, version 2.1.1*

Easy to handle and use, unfortunately maps and train schedules are as old as 2016 and need urgent updates

### 3/5 — Not working for Green line.

*2018-07-30, version 2.1.0*

This use to be my favorite app to use. However, the last update seems to have broken the Green line schedule. Red and Orange work. If you click on Green, the app crashes.

### 3/5 — Silver Line?

*2017-09-24, version 2.0.2*

This is a nice, simple app. Hoping that the next version has the schedule for the Silver Line. Ultimately, it would also be nice to be able to enter your origin and destination and have the app provide directions.

### 3/5 — Good but needs improvement

*2017-09-19, version 2.0.2*

I saw another review which I would like to echo as part of my review. This app definitely needs a gps function, it could be a version that doesn't have to work with cell connection. Another option is to have a map overlay so you can see where the exits are and what part of the city you are going to enter and exit, a feature that would save time. I would say this is a good beginner app and needs the next version to take it to the next level. The timeline for the trains wasn't really helpful because the trains come within 10 minutes of each other.
