I updated the firmware and it still doesn’t connect. I contacted them and it’s clear and tell me it’s just the firmware, but from the reviews it’s clear that many can’t connect either. I wonder if anyone has a brain cell and bring back the previous version so they don’t annoy their customers? Der Verbindungsaufbau vom iPhone oder auch iPad zum S600 mit installierter aktueller Firmware wird immer noch mit einer Fehlermeldung abgebrochen. Am S600 liegt es definitiv nicht. Wie kann man dann, nach sehr sehr vielen Beschwerden, sich nicht um das Problem kümmern???? ### 1/5 — Won’t Connect Anymore *2023-10-05, version 2.1.0* If I would give the app zero stars I would. The update to version 2 killed the connection to the mower that worked fine with version 1. I was advised by the helpline to update the firmware on my mower and this crashed mid download on windows, so I had to go to a approved reseller about 10 miles away who successfully downloaded the firmware but wasn’t able to connect to the mower despite the mower being visible within the app. They were able to connect my mower to the husqvarma app but this didn’t allow any functionality, so the issue was clearly with the app rather than the firmware. I then tried the helpline again and they said that they knew about the problem with the app (despit saying only a few hours earlier that it was fine) and there was going to another update to the app, but over a month later this hasn’t happened and there isn’t any way to connect to the mower. Don’t waste your time with this one and look for an alternative. ### 1/5 — Keine Bluetooth Verbindung nach Update *2023-10-03* Seit dem Update ist keine Verbindung per Bluetooth mehr möglich. Habe vor drei Wochen den Support angeschrieben aber bis heute noch keine Antwort erhalten. Was für eine Sauerei!! Update: Auch nach der Aktualisierung auf 2.1.0 ist immer noch keine Verbindung möglich. Der Kundendienst hat bis heute noch nicht auf meine eMails geantwortet! ### 1/5 — Absoluter Schrott *2023-09-23* Seit dem Update geht nichts mehr. Der Hersteller ist offenbar zu ignorant, das Problem zu beheben. Oder nicht kompetent. Daher wird dies mein erster und mit absoluter Sicherheit auch letzter Mäher von McCulloch sein. Ich kann und werde jedem abraten, diesen Hersteller zu wählen! Like some of the other reviewers I tried everything to no avail, what worked in the end was updating the mowers firmware. On the McCulloch website they provide an updater for windows and Mac. The process is straightforward but you will need a printer cable. Once connected the update process takes about 5 mins and once complete the app connected to the mower straight away. The updated app seems pretty good as well. Hope that helps somebody. Update: lost connection again and found that resetting all user settings on mower and starting fresh also allowed me to connect. ### 5/5 — Massive improvement *2023-07-02, version 2.0.0* It’s taken a while but the latest version of this app is superior to the last, reading some reviews on here initial connection can be a bit hit and miss but worked fine for me. ### 5/5 — Updated review on v2.0 *2023-06-24, version 2.0.0* New app is what has been missing for this product for along time. Für einen ohnehin super vollautomatischen Mäher der keine oder kaum Kommandos braucht völlig ausreichend. Es wäre trotzdem super wenn man alle Einstellung von Rob über die App vornehmen könnte. Eine Programmierung oder Eingabe direkt am Mäher ist umständlich wenn er in seine Garage steht.
