When you hit update, it still shows update prompt again and again making it impossible to proceed further. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the issue still persists. ### 3/5 — Update related *2025-06-11, version 2.6* App is asking for update when open . On clicking ‘Open’ it again takes back to installed app and same process keeps repeating in a circle without any update of the installed app. ### 1/5 — Uncertain obstacles while opening the app *2025-04-24* Whenever I try to open the app a message pops up saying that an update is available and update now, once I click on update now the App Store doesn’t even show the update options since the app is up to date, I request the developers to fix this bug because my geotagging process is on hold due to this. ### 1/5 — Unable to register either with mobile or email *2024-07-03, version 2.5* This is a horrible experience. While registering with mobile number it continuously says something went wrong. And while registering from email address, you do get an OTP but after entering the OTP on the app it says email address is wrong! If there is a zero star I would like to give that. ### 3/5 — Time out issue *2024-04-17* The concept of this App is good but some issues need to be addressed 1. After Geo tagging, by the time photos of 3 sides are taken and uploaded, the location for Geo tagging is no longer accurate. By the time return to correct location the App times out and info can no longer be updated 2. There should be an option to upload photos from the photo library instead of Live Photos to prevent time out issues. 3. There’s a limit to attempts for Geo tagging after which it directs to contact the MCD officer. **Developer response:** Dear user we are working on unification server so bear with us. I geo tagged one property and logged out, later logged back in to tag the other property and now both have disappeared. I’ve tried several times in the last 24 hours but neither of them are showing. In fact, they’ve disappeared from the web login as well ### 2/5 — Amrit Malhotra *2024-02-21, version 1.13* After opening the app it asks for update to new updated version, on clicking it takes you to App Store but nothing happens after that. I tried at least 10-15 times, same thing happened. Very frustrating and waste of time ### 4/5 — Unable to use App as it is looping *2024-02-21* On opening the app, a window to update the app appears, which on clicking takes the user to the App Store. However, on reopening the app, the same msg is displayed. Request to fix this bug in order to allow citizens to carry on with the mandated geo-tagging of property. ### 1/5 — RG *2024-02-19, version 1.13* App is not working for Iphone. It is looping for updates available but does not update. Secondly the earlier version doesn’t support the already registered phone number. And when we go to the MCD website it states that the phone number is registered. So this anomaly has to be resolved. There is no zero star rating hence giving one star. ### 3/5 — iPhone -app issue *2024-02-18, version 1.13* I am also facing problem in IPhone for MCD app. It says update available but on clicking it, it comes back to same menu that update available and I am not able to geotag. Whoever is developing this app need to fine another job cos app building is not his cup of tea. Very pathetic application and waste of efforts. Previously it was crashing now it is asking update even no update available. There is definitely some bug as on clicking open - window pops up saying update available, on clicking it, it goes back to the App Store and it goes on repeating. Finally I have given up. An urgent resolution of this problem will help the users to comply the deadline of 29th Feb for GeoTagging the property. Put this page to left side, do again with second page and from page three you can do the needful. The MCD App says an Update is available but when I press the “Update” button it takes me back to APP STORE without updating. I have not been able to GeoTag my property. Daily tried for 30 minutes, wasted approx 300 minutes. Always times Out before payment. Worst app ever encountered. However, last year the payment was done in few seconds . Why this year not working ?? ### 1/5 — 4th Largest Economy and App of a 194th Economy *2025-06-21, version 2.7* Thanks to all the engineers with subpar knowledge who got job in NIC through “reference” we have the most pathetic app and infrastructure for the residence of New Delhi, the capital of 4th largest economy. BJP will spell doom for all of us. Keeping jumping. ### 1/5 — MCD app not working in iOS *2025-05-29, version 2.6* When I run MCD App on iPhone 15 with latest iOS, the app says update available. On pressing update button, it does not download the update. It again takes to the app. It goes in loop and does not work. I deleted the app and downloaded again. But same error is coming. Hence unable to file property tax. ### 1/5 — Looping error *2025-05-16, version 2.6* There is a looping error which takes me from the app that displays “update available” back to the App Store which redirects me back to the app. I strongly urge the devs to fix this bug as a lot of people dependent on this app to pay their property tax. Do you want to update now? On clicking the same it takes to Apple store but could not be updated.
