I order at 1:15 and it’s 2:14 and they have just dispatched it as I am writing this review. ### 1/5 — Worst customer service from mcdonalds adyar *2022-11-05* I ordered from mcdelivery app from mcdonalds adyar chennai branch on 16 October. I didn't receive my order till 30 mins so i called the store to which they replied that due to some technical issue my order couldn't be delivered but they didn't call me to tell the same. So they cancelled my order but I didn't receive my refund to whicb when i called them and on being asked by store manager sent my order details and transaction id. Its been 20 days but still I haven't received my refund and on top of that there is no customer service and store number is also not reachable. Most pathetic customer service i have ever come through. ### 3/5 — Ordinary app *2022-10-25, version 10.71* Pros: Ordering through app will give you some offers and discounts Cons: Won’t show expected or current delivery times. This is especially important as some stores may have less delivery folks available when compared to other food delivery apps leading to delays. The UI is also not great. Overall: If not in a hurry, you should prefer to order from Swiggy or Zomato as the delivery is more reliable but the cost will be higher. ### 3/5 — Too slow *2022-09-24, version 10.71* App is very slow. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-08-16* Don’t even order from this app. Today I ordered for 2 pcs of chicken and I got just one and I went on to the help section and I got a call from the restaurant in less than mins. Nevertheless the restaurant told me that they sent it intact. I didn’t find any seal or tape like I used to get from restaurant and they told me that most likely the rider took a piece of the chicken. This is terrible cos everytime I order from Swiggy or zomato the seal used to be so intact. Finally I asked the restaurant to send me the other piece and to which they told me that they won’t have riders at this time ( which is 12 midnight) which is actually not too late. If it was Swiggy or zomato, for the kind of customer I am I would have got an instant refund. However the restaurant told me that they will reimburse me in the next order. However this is hardship and pathetic. Won’t use this app again. They actually rely on DUNZO for their deliveries. ### 2/5 — Needless feature in the app *2022-08-11, version 10.71* One of the most useless feature I have seen in this app is that you have to confirm delivery location after placing order. And by the way the order already has your address. This confirmation should be before accepting payment and not after. It’s not user friendly, constantly crashes, doesn’t allow you to add certain things to cart, constantly tells me that my area is not serviceable when it is, all customisations are ignored 9 out of 10 times, it takes too long to assign a rider to deliver to you so your food just sits there in the restaurant till it’s ice cold. It was a workable experience once upon a time, but now the service is so bad that I wouldn’t recommend using it at all. You’re better off ordering from another app like Swiggy or Zomato, at least they have some user support. This is a pathetic app and a joke experience from such a company. If I could give it a lower score, I would. ### 1/5 — Worst UI of the Year 2022 *2022-06-19* The order was of only 2 meals! 2 Mexican aloo tikki meal! But the time consumed was freaking half hour.! Don’t you understand the application makers that the UI must be smooth and comfortable as per the consumer! For ordering 2 meals it took me half hour and also the loading screen of burger and patti makes it more irritating like hell!! Only for a single tap on the screen the application took time like 30-45 secs PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR UI OR ELSE JUST BRING BACK THE OLD ONE! You might think that it is my phone’s problem! Nope.. I’ve a iPhone 13 Pro Max will full connectivity then too it’s taking too much time I don’t think so that by this UI you will satisfy all the consumers! Literally got irritated because of this and also yes forgot to say that if that offer is applied then too they are charging me 55rs extra for a single aloo tikki does that even makes sense??? It is for complimentary and they are charging for it!! What is going on?? Are the DEVELOPERS TOO HIGH TO WORK? Or doesn’t get paid enough? Too Poor and the impression which we’d for Mcd Application has also gone much more down!! Worst Thing! Tried to call the store regarding the delay in delivery of order couldn’t reach them as the store phone number mentioned in the app was wrong . Had to find the number on google and called them , they weren’t able to deliver as they were no delivery executive available. And asked me to cancel the order and they would refund the money . But there is no cancel order option either , the same was conveyed to the store executive . They told they would cancel and refund the money . I told him that tipping is optional and I already paid 40 rupees driving charge. He kept on asking to tip him and I had to tip him out of guilt. Please hire professional people or pay your people money. This is not a good behaviour from employees working in such a big and reputed corporation. I would refrain from ordering delivery from Mc Donalds. I was already ripped off of extra coz the fries and mc swirl was already 15-20 extra as you are selling at your store plus I paid extra 40 rupee charge and tipped your delivery guy out of guilt. By this way he motivates the standing customers at the take away counter to Deliver (so that he can earn delivery charges by asking customer to select the same location only I.e Agora Business Park so in a wat Customer Cokes to your Outlet and paus extra 50 rs to get it im form on delivery and not take away. This is insane and ridicules way MC D is generating money. Hell with your such system of bribery. ### 1/5 — Worst service. He also said the website is displaying incorrect ingredients so that means Mc Donald is fooling customers and they are not giving what is mentioned in the receipt.. This is how you treat and provide service.. I had ordered a combo of two tote bags, but initially received only one. When I reported the issue through the MCD app, the response was incredibly prompt. Navya took immediate ownership of the concern and ensured that the pending tote bag was shipped the very same day—even at 11:00 PM on a Saturday. Special thanks as well to Shiva for personally delivering the item, and to Shashidar for coordinating the entire process smoothly. Seriously McDelivery has the worst service ever they half the time delivery incomplete order or they jst dnt bother delivering it for 1-2 hrs. McDelivery is just getting worse day by day…. I would love to give them a rating on 0 on the scale of 10.
