I have been ordering for years. I never got any of these points ### 2/5 — McDonald’s *2019-08-08, version 3.1.46* This application is absolute trash it crashes too much and it doesn’t even order or work at all ### 3/5 — Works but needs to be updated *2019-02-14, version 3.1.46* I'm a regular customer for McDonalds and have been ordering exclusively through this app at least once a week for almost two years, paying in cash or credit cards with very minor glitches so far. Haven't had any problems with incorrect orders or incorrect payments. It serves the purpose but the interface/experience design is long overdue for an overhaul to be compatible with newer devices. It can also make better use of push notifications for informing users about order status updates and about new/special offers. Instead of emailing me twice every time an order is placed, you could just use push notifications for that. McDonalds sells well in Jordan, but you could end up increasing revenue with a better app, in my opinion. I'm taking away a star for outdated interface and another star for non-existent push notifications. Bottom line: this is an app that functionally serves its purpose, but is long overdue for a design update and better deployment of push notifications. ### 1/5 — They can’t get an order right *2018-11-20, version 3.1.46* If you think you’re dealing with an international company that has standards think again. Why have an app if you’re not gonna look at the orders and send the wrong items 5 out of the last 20 orders. This app doesn't have the basic requirements of a real product design. Registration process for such app shall be simply asking the user for email and phone.. Name shall be added when specifying the delivery location. And why does the password have to be as secure as a google server??? I'm just registering to order a Big Mac, it isn't like I'm using my account to log all my secret data and connect it to my bank account information. What is worse than the unnecessary step of email verification? The fact that it takes so much time for the email to be received! I would like to meet the person who decided that it is more important to verify my email address than my phone number, I guess this person thought that the delivery boy would send me an email if my phone number was wrong and he got lost. As a user, I say using this app is one of the worst decisions I have made in my weekend.
