If you miss verification of your payment you can’t pay that same order, you would have to order again in order to pay it. This is a big face palm in 2024, very inconvenient specially when someone has ordered a lot. And why the hell is there a captcha? There is a protocol for secured payments and this captcha adds more inconvenience to payment. Check the McDonald US or UK app and see what I mean with no hassle payments. Skipped ordering as I was put off and just ordered from that lovely Bee instead. Good luck and I hope you get your act straight ### 3/5 — Note to restaurant option *2023-10-08, version 4.1.2* Been using this app for a while now and so far so good. The only suggestion or feedback I have is I hope there is an option to provide a note or "special instruction" to the restaurant be it per the item in the cart ordered or for the entire order. I wanted to order a PLAIN sundae and there's none in the menu, I tried to choose a "hot fudge sundae" and just leave a note to instruct the store that it is for a PLAIN sundae order but there's no option for me to send a note or provide that message to. I hope there will be a way to include special instructions to the store included in the checkout process for instances like that or anything else the restaurant must know. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2023-10-02, version 4.1.1* App doesn’t update where your order is and it took an extra hour for us to receive my order :/// ### 3/5 — Months later, no improvement yet *2023-04-19, version 3.1.17* This app works fine most times. It also connects with stores easily and the stores are able to contact you when needed. It’s good that they allow senior/PWD discount and the flexibility of cash change. However, the debit card portal just never works. It lets you enter the card details but after confirming it, the app cancels your order because the card or mode of payment turns out to be invalid. You’d have to have cash if you wanna order through this app. Also, the customer service is a hit-or-miss. I hope they will fix the card issue already. ### 3/5 — Order was incomplete + no customer support *2023-03-13, version 3.1.16* They called me saying that they didn’t have chicken. Which I understood since it waste and they probably wanted to clean up. However, I asked to clarify which chicken type order was incomplete because we ordered 3 chicken fillet 1 chicken burger They said it was the Mcdo Chicken and I tried ordering that twice but the app cancelled it saying the store didn’t have it so I cancelled it and obviously thought that it was just app bug. I asked them to clarify which chicken order was cancelled fillet or burger and they said both is still available. Fast forward to completed delivery it turns out that there is no chicken burger or the free fries coupon added and we paid more than what was in our order ₱620 but the receipt says ₱413 which makes sense since they didn’t have the burger. I’ve been staring at the chat option that isn’t loading for minutes now. I’ve given up. The money ain’t returning what a bad way to end the day. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2023-02-08, version 3.1.14* Horrible ### 2/5 — Chat Support Feature is USELESS *2022-09-06, version 3.1.4* This app used to be okay but upon using it today, the chat support feature was really useless. No response at all, even after trying twice. My order’s estimated arrival time was 11:44 to 11:54, but it’s already 11:54 and my order status hasn’t changed yet. It’s still on the order confirmed status and not being prepared yet. I went to chat support to ask if my order has been received but no response from their end. As in NONE. And then my order suddenly arrived. What’s the order status for if it won’t be updated????? And what’s the chat feature for if it would be completely useless??? ### 1/5 — Scummy practices, beware and avoid McDelivery *2022-08-29, version 3.1.3* The McDelivery app sent a push notification near lunch time letting me know about a supposed promo where you get a free double cheeseburger with a minimum of P300. That’s literally all the notification says. My order arrived without the said item, only to be told by support chat that I actually have to supply a coupon. Seriously? It’s scummy to send a notification hiding the fine print like that knowing customers who will be seeing it are likely occupied and just want to order something while getting a nice free item out of it. For me, I don’t normally have to order a minimum of 300, but I did just for the promo. I don’t want to support a company that purposely trick people like this. McDelivery *knows* what they’re doing and it’s vile. McDonalds doesn’t respect nor value their customers despite their lip service knowing for every disgruntled customer another will come in as a replacement. Fortunately more fast food chain alternatives are popping up. ### 3/5 — Good app overall *2022-05-16, version 3.0.13* Thank you for listening to my suggestions. I hope you can fix the problem with gcash failing multiple times but the payment still goes through. I am scared of using that anymore. Also the paymaya function keeps failing if you don’t use the paymaya card, please reprimand those useless payment processors. Foodwise, I can say the items are ok, the only hope I have for improvement is give us a choice for healthier beverages with no sugar. KFC is offering a sugarless iced tea with a separate sugar syrup packet for those that like sugar. This encourages people like me who want to keep their blood sugar low to actually take your beverages more. If you’re able to offer that and fix the problems with gcash and paymaya, I will be more than happy to give 5 stars. ### 1/5 — Poor service *2022-05-09, version 3.0.13* I ordered at exactly 11:38 am and the time delivery was supposedly 12:41 pm. The transaction was smooth, from order confirmed to delivery. At 12:45 pm, the manager from the branch store contacted me saying that the delivery will be delayed because the delivery rider was delivering also from another barangay. Like what? I checked the delivery app and it says that my order was already completed. Like hello, it was already 1:30 and my order still wasn’t received. Seriously Mcdo, please be mindful of your customers and please deliver our orders on time. We can understand if it is due to some unfortunate events but not following the time because of your failed service will never be acceptable. Don’t accept orders if you can’t make it on time! But lately it’s kinda disappointing because I experience some issues like the rider forget to give me fries which is I ordered and the next one is I can’t place my order due to errors occurred in the app and I don’t have any order details in the app even in my email so I don’t expect delivery, that’s why I ordered on the other app but I received a notification to track my order because it is on the way but when I checked on the app where I ordered it says that my order is still in the kitchen so I’m kinda confused, when the my order came I pay the right amount I actually gave the rider a tip, then afterwards I received again a notification that my order is on the way it is where I order in the other app so I paid again the right amount. I received a double order and when I checked the receipt the first receipt is from mcdelivery. But I know that I didn’t place my order because it says that it has errors and I don’t have any order details from the app or even in my email. ### 1/5 — Terrible App, very inconsistent *2022-02-15, version 3.0.10* Many times the app crashes or delivery is unavailable. Now, when I go to my downloaded phone app, it keeps asking me to upgrade to newer version of the app... problem is I like many people don’t have iOS 13 plus. So the app locks up and won’t let me use my original app.. so I purchase food elsewhere now!! ### 1/5 — Discounts *2022-02-10, version 3.0.10* There is no option to use two or more privilege cards. Whenever I highlight one card, the other gets removed. I was told by the agent to use the web version instead, but there’s no option to checkout! Both versions are extremely faulty. There’s not even a hot choco option. I hope you just bring back ordering thru phone! ### 1/5 — Poor Cust Service and Unreliable App *2022-02-07, version 3.0.10* I ordered last night using this app then paid online using my card. After paying online using Paymaya’s online service, it just went back to the checkout page in the app with no order being processed even if I got a receipt from Paymaya that I was already charged. I tried to chat cust svc online in the app but got no response. I had to go to the store to dispute the charge with a cashier then the manager and had to go through customer service over the phone since the store would not honor my order. That was a hassle. The store even made me wait for a few minutes before I got my order. Such a poor customer service and unreliable app! I do advise to anyone who is reading this feedback and who’d like to purchase food from McDo to just place your order in Foodpanda or Grab since there is a minimal difference only with the delivery fee or just call their delivery hotline if available. ### 1/5 — Not reliable for delivery *2021-11-12, version 3.0.5* I ordered because of a promotion. After paying online, I found out the item was not available. Matagal na raw wala, and they didn’t even update the menu. Furthermore, it’s been more than an hour and the food hasn’t been delivered yet. I pinned my location on the app. The app automatically inputs the address, but I can’t edit even when it’s wrong. So I added notes instead. Apparently the store and hotline couldn’t even see it, so what’s the point? I chose the store on the app, but backend, they couldn’t see the store I chose as well. This app takes forever to update. ### 1/5 — Please fix app *2021-11-01, version 3.0.2* The app has glitches. Going back and forth from the menu to my cart, sometimes the items I have added to my cart are there, and sometimes they are not. I had to refresh the page for them to appear again. And then when I was able to finalize my orders and tapped on Place My Order, nothing happened. I repeated it 2-3 times more and the items from my cart suddenly disappeared. Thinking my order didn’t push through, I added the items to my cart once again. Good thing I thought of checking my email before placing my order again. I panicked when I received 4 confirmation emails with different order numbers, so I called the branch who was assigned to my order. Good thing the duplicate orders were cancelled by their system and only one was confirmed. Please fix this. Thank you. ### 1/5 — Poor checkout process *2021-10-20, version 3.0.0* The checkout process is easy, but I got charged without getting my order. Ordered for delivery, entered my gcash card details for payment. After successful authentication, i got a confirmation text of my payment, and i checked my gcash to confirm and double check the charge. The app however went back to the cart with a loading screen which never ended (was waiting for about 20 minutes) forcing me to exit and reopen the app only to find out that my order was still in cart and not "ordered" and "checked out." Nakapangasaba nako once kay ilang drive thru, walay tao or dugay mangabri, walay paabiso na mag wait sag pila ka minutes aron mahatag ang order. We chose to wait sa entrance kay naa mi baby dala. Ang next na vehicle namo, gi serbatohan na silag taman. Ug wala pa, wa gyuy mangabri guro. Kalala sa service! Di na nako maihap na taga ulig balay, kulang kulang ang orders. Mapa burger, meal, drinks. Yes, dapat gi check namo pero it’s your job to do it too. Pa order’s complete tapos pag check dili diay. Gabayad bayad rami way nadawat. Ka hassle ninyo oy! ### 1/5 — Go order in another app *2025-07-23, version 4.4.13* If youre using this as a last resort cuz your branch is “unavailable” in foodpanda or grab, just order somewhere else. Don’t download this useless app. - no map to see where your rider is. Just a “on its way”. - no way to chat with your rider. You are forced to wait until your rider contacts you. - logs you out unnecessarily and errors when you try to log in again. - if it does show the map when your order’s on the way, it doesnt even show where the rider is. Just you and what branch you ordered from - only way to access customer support is after ordering. - status updates aren’t updating properly. No notification of any updates. If you do get a notification they can be minutes or hours apart from each other. I’ve had the experience of already finishing my food, going to bed a fee hours after and only then did the notification that my food is on the way appears. Please just use another app to order. Don’t bother yourself with a delivery app that was last updated 8 years ago ### 1/5 — not reliable *2024-10-03, version 4.3.3* I recently had a frustrating experience with McDelivery. After placing my order, I found out that the branch fulfilling it had no internet connection, causing a significant delay for my breakfast. When I followed up with customer service, they took 20 minutes to respond, only to inform me that my order couldn't be completed due to connectivity issues and that they could no longer serve breakfast because the cutoff was at 10 AM. I ended up waiting over an hour without any meal. This lack of reliability is disappointing and makes it difficult to trust the service for timely orders. ### 1/5 — Waste of an app just use other couriers like Grab *2024-09-22, version 4.3.3* Used this app for the discount and so I can pick the store that had the items I wanted. Apparently, the store didnt have the items we wanted despite it being tagged as available on the app. Next, they informed me they didnt have a rider who accepted it yet and they were waiting the whole time. Desperately wanted to cancel the order but there was no option on the app and when I contacted the store to cancel, they no longer responded. The whole thing took more than an hour before our orders arrived and our driver was just a grab driver. I wish I just used the grab app then if mcdo didnt have designated delivery riders for the store anyway. An hour passed and I still haven’t received my order nor get any updates about it so I followed via their chat support and they told me they will ask the branch to call me about my order. The branch manager called only to let me know they supposedly received the order late and the breakfast items are no longer available so they will just refund me and my refund was to be processed in 14 BUSINESS DAYS?! Now, it’s either the branch manager was lying about receiving the order late or their app is just outright useless. Either way, this is a verg disappointing way to handle your customers. It always takes beyond an HOUR before I even get to their customer service chat system. In my 4th experience, I already chatted them to please check on my order and check the branch if they have seen my order. They replied “You’re order is now being prepared” lol after 30 minutes, I followed up my order and they said that my order is being transferred to another branch. Of course I ordered to that specific branch because they have the food all available that the other. I just don’t get it why do they have to transfer my order and it’s already 1 hr and 30 mins! I think the developers might need to fix this app and let this application be a priority too. I know Foodpanda and Grab is always on in their branches but I hope this application is a priority as well knowing that this is their APPLICATION. Maybe it’s because of the branches near us, but all in all I would definitely recommend the app. Our order is being updated to us at an accurate time and is delivered to us in a small amount of time. For those who rated this app poorly, it may not be the app’s fault to delay the orders though, it may have been the branches of mcdo where it was ordered. Updates customer with the orders, plus they serve meals the way I want it. For those who have problem with their order, please don’t yell or scold the delivery staff. How cool is that? And to be honest, this process is much more easier than the McDonald’s Delivery Website. The website loads too much. With this app, McDonald's will help you track your order through email (summary of your order/ if your order has already been prepared or delivered).
