### 4/5 — Works fine

*2026-05-09, version 4.2*

Definitely an improvement on the app it replaced. It connects and tracks my exercise, bike activity, which is all I use it for.

### 2/5 — Ads that block the ability to adjust workout?

*2026-04-22, version 4.1*

As soon as I switch away to any other app, my connection to my bike is lost and my workout ends. At least MyCloudFitness allowed backgrounding, usually holding its connection during my 25 minute workouts as I watched YouTube Videos. This replacement drops the instant I open anything else on my iPhone 17 running iOS 26.x.

### 3/5 — Ads

*2026-01-20, version 3.9.2*

I would rate this app higher, but after using it for a year or two they added ads. I understand they want to generate money for this free service, but ever since then it keeps dropping me from connecting my phone to the bike and then I have to watch an ad that’s longer than what I was able to actually work out for is really ridiculous and annoying.

### 1/5 — Ensh!tified

*2025-07-07, version 3.9.0*

The app was fine until they filled it with ads.

### 1/5 — Remove the *&$ $&* ads

*2025-06-20, version 3.9.0*

I didn’t buy my exercise bike to be bombarded with ads while I do a workout.

### 1/5 — Drains and heats up battery

*2025-06-20, version 3.9.0*

Did exercise for 10 minutes and left it open because ad would not let me close it gracefully. Turns out it was using up battery and phone was very hot! Make sure you shut it down completely even if you have to crash it.

### 1/5 — Ads

*2025-06-16, version 3.9.0*

The ads are insane. 60 sec ad at the end of your workout to save it. When you go to start a new workout the next day, guess what another 60 second ad because it didnt actually save. Can we not have apps today without stupid ads for junk ill never buy?

### 1/5 — Has become unusable…

*2025-06-12, version 3.9.0*

One of the more recent updates has introduced ads. No matter what I do, another ad pops up. Hopefully a follow up fix with restore some usability. In the meantime, I guess my exercise goes unlogged.

### 1/5 — Still broken

*2025-05-31, version 3.9.0*

This app is still broken after the latest update. It won’t save a workout, it won’t delete a workout, it won’t reset.
Please fix it.

### 1/5 — Mycloudfitness

*2025-05-12, version 3.8.9*

The app worked for many months. Then it stopped working. Try saving a workout and it spins the dial endlessly. It also fails to delete the workout. Only way to stop is to close the app. When the app is reopened, again fails to save or delete. No way to save a workout. Removing the app, restarting the iphone does nothing. Trying to find support fails. The physical machine works. The app is flaky.

### 1/5 — Ok if not for the Ads

*2025-05-10, version 3.8.9*

This app used to be a decent way to record the activity from my desk bike. Interface was user friendly enough when tracking and looking back at past results and trends, and connectivity with the bike was consistent for the most part. Recently they added a feature where you are forced to watch an ad (usually for some irrelevant game app) before it will allow you to save your results—you can record activity, but you cannot save it until you watch an ad for something you most likely do not give a rip about. It’s an irritating and pointless feature. Makes me want to find a different, unrelated app to record my activity just for the sake of not supporting this nonsensical downgrade.

### 1/5 — Do NOT update app!!!

*2025-04-25, version 3.8.8*

Updated app which came with an exercise bike I bought. Now the app is useless and 90% COVERED BY ADS! There is ZERO support and no way to reach the company. Bike is now garbage.

### 1/5 — Deleting this after 5 years

*2025-04-23, version 3.8.8*

The newly added ads block the screen so you can’t even see your stats during a workout. This makes the app useless.

### 2/5 — Ads that block the ability to adjust workout?

*2025-04-23, version 3.8.8*

I now have ads that block my ability to change the resistance of my stationary bike. A sure way to make me avoid this brand for my replacement. Please fix the app popover ads that can’t be closed.

### 1/5 — Update has ads covering everything

*2025-04-23, version 3.8.8*

Huge, massive ads cover everything. I can no longer pause, stop, or save my workout when tracking. I have to close the app and hope it keeps the data. I’ve been forced to take a screenshot just in case. All attempts to “contact” are just taking me to a FAQ page which is not helpful.

### 1/5 — Advertising

*2025-04-22, version 3.8.8*

This app now has advertisements in the app that cover the app window. Makes the app useless!!

### 1/5 — Ads get in the way

*2025-04-22, version 3.8.8*

Cannot access the menu due the Ads. No exit button. Ended up terminating the app. This is ridiculous commercialism!

### 1/5 — Greedy advertising scum

*2025-04-22, version 3.8.8*

Absolutely atrocious and greedy update to a barely reliable app, which on top of it working less than half the time, it now displays advertisements all over, blocking not only the view but the buttons to be able to use it… absolute dumbest corporate greedy move to allow for this to get released to the public. If I could give negative stars along with review, I would.

### 2/5 — Works with glitches

*2025-04-22, version 3.8.8*

The app works well enough for me to use it but does contain glitches that can make exercise sessions frustrating. But what annoyed me recently was when a pop up ad covered the bottom half of my screen as I was in the middle of setting up a workout. It didn’t have an X out option, neither did clicking on the add then returning to the app clear it/remove it. I was unable, due to add placement, set the tension (resistance) to start my workout. I had to close out the app then reopen. Thankfully I was then able to program my workout settings. However, this frustrated me as I paid for the bike attached to this app. I felt like the app was trying to add a charge (motivate me to pay to avoid ads)—for something I already paid for. I recognize the app may be a third party ExerWork uses, but feel they should instead create and use their own app if the only other option is one with an additional (potentially) charge—or ads that impede use.

### 1/5 — Broken and unusable

*2025-04-22, version 3.8.8*

Uncloseable ads completely cover up the controls, making it impossible to do any kind of workout without paying for premium, which I suppose is probably what they're trying to do, in the scummiest way possible.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t use it!

*2026-06-06, version 4.3*

This app doesn’t sync with my Apple Watch easily and the ads last FOREVER! To log your data!

### 1/5 — Not just ads, now drops connection frequently too

*2026-05-17, version 4.2.1*

Oh boy, first MyCloud Fitness with ads added years after buying my ExerWork stationary bike, then monthly costs added, and now instability too. No better way to ensure I'll never buy anything associated with these cloud services again.

### 1/5 — New app is trash

*2026-05-12, version 4.2.1*

Won’t connect to AppleWatch anymore and annoys you with a minutes of unskippable ads to register your trainings. Very efficient at annoying people. Since there’s no alternative for the training machine it’s a shaming practice.

### 1/5 — Even worse with new company

*2026-04-27, version 4.1.1*

Loses connection with my bike and now have to pay to view tracked distance after workout is saved

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2026-04-20, version 4.0.2*

Only connects to my bike for 5 minutes during a workout, after that it doesn’t update any of the stats like RPM, calories, etc.

### 1/5 — Won’t install

*2026-03-30, version 3.9.3*

Would love to use with my rowing machine but can’t create an account. Email is sent for me to click thru but my security sw flags an unsafe site. Even if I click to ignore the page then just goes nowhere

### 1/5 — Payant

*2026-03-04, version 3.9.3*

Nul ! Tout est payant !!!!

### 1/5 — What happened?!?

*2025-08-04, version 3.9.0*

I’ve had this app for awhile - initially it took a little getting used to trying to figure out how to use it. Over the last several months it’s gone from bad to worse. Initially - it was trying to find my machine. Now? You’re held hostage if you try and save anything. Trying to log a workout? Whether you save if delete- you have to watch some dumb ad. There’s no bypassing the ad. Not to cancel or save - held hostage. Deleting the app as I can’t see how the functionality is going to be maintained when the app developer is more concerned about whether an ad gets posted/watched vs the app actually working.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-08-04, version 3.9.0*

App makes you watch 30 second ads in the middle of workouts in order to continue.

### 1/5 — Ads

*2025-07-11, version 3.9.0*

The ability to save the workout I just did on the machine I paid hundreds of dollars for should not be a “reward” granted only after watching a 30 second ad.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good app

*2024-02-24, version 3.7.5*

I have rower and I like the different exercises offered. I find it a little too expensive though. but very complete when you put the right intensity into the exercises

### 5/5 — Awesome support team!

*2022-12-12, version 3.6.1*

When I initially got my indoor bike, the Bluetooth got disconnected approximately after five minutes and kept doing so after a while. It was a bit of an annoyance but I didn’t think it was really an issue thinking the issue was some compatibility with my cellphone. However, when I sent a short message using their app, I got a response right away and after a couple email exchanges, they suggested it was possibly the console and offered to send out a replacement with a updated firmware. Due to shortage on their end, they initially assumed it would take four weeks or so to send out but they managed to send it out right away.

After I received it, I was sick and busy so I did not replace the console right away. However in the meantime the support sent me a follow up email for the outcome. After a weeks or so I was able to replace it and test it out. The issue was gone!

I was impressed with their support team and glad to see that they are serious about customer satisfaction. Keep up the good work! Thank you!

### 5/5 — I love the App

*2022-11-22, version 3.6.1*

I really like this app, it has a free features and ones you can purchase. It can crash from time to time. All apps have minor bugs in them. I always get a fast response if I have a problem. All in all I love the app and what it offers for me. I will continue to use it. It works great for me.

### 5/5 — Helpful workout and goals

*2022-10-23, version 3.6.0*

Helpful for getting an idea of what was necessary for my goals. Good place to find a work out to do with my rower.

### 5/5 — Rowing for Fitness

*2022-10-08, version 3.5.1*

I have been using a cloud fitness rower with the accompanying app for over a year. I have found the challenges to be very motivating, and leading me to achieve my fitness goals.
JLD, 77 years young!

### 5/5 — Analytics are a game-changer

*2022-10-08, version 3.5.1*

I have a rower, elliptical, and bike which all synch with MyCloudFitness and having the tracking and report analytics really motivate me to improve. The exercise machines which utilize this app are affordable and the the customer care team is really responsive! I am looking forward to buying a treadmill when one comes out compatible with this app!

### 5/5 — Good app and great support

*2022-09-28, version 3.5.1*

The rowing machine and this app has worked perfectly. I had an initial question on linking the app to the machine via Bluetooth. Support answered it and followed up to ensure everything worked. Kudos

### 5/5 — Excellent support

*2022-06-02, version 3.4.2*

The MyCloudFitness customer care support team has been excellent in their services. Recently, I faced an issue where my rower was not getting connected to the Bluetooth on my phone. I just raised a ticket using the app and received a very prompt reply asking for the model details. As soon as I provided the same, they shipped me a new control unit. Thanks you guys, you really made my day!!.. keep doing the amazing work.

### 5/5 — Great customer service for my rowing machine

*2022-05-05, version 3.4.0*

I emailed the company I was having problems with my machine connecting and they send me troubleshooting ideas and it worked. They then followed up with me to see if it worked
