Blatantly lying by claiming that the 14 doesn’t have any times available when it absolutely does. It’s dumb, and needs to be fixed because I can’t stop being late to work and having to pay for an Uber >:/ ### 2/5 — 30 Line busses do not always show *2025-02-01, version 1.5.1* When the app works it’s great. But there’s many times when a bus (specifically on route 30) will be operating but not showing on the app. At first I thought it was a problem with the bus itself, but when I use Google maps the bus will show, so some bug is preventing certain busses from showing on the MCTS app. ### 3/5 — Not all routes included *2024-12-19, version 1.5* The app works great - for the lines it actually includes. Why did you omit the 24 line? However, there are multiple issues that make it almost impossible to know when the bus is going to come. Last fall, the Maryland and Kenwood stop by the UWM student union was moved about 50 feet for some reason. Ever since then I have not been able to see the stop on the app. The old stop, #4377 says “Not a valid stop” when I click on it. I see a new stop has been added labeled #2379, but when I click on this I get an error message saying “connection problem” Because of this problem, I check the Hartford and Maryland stop instead. However, before this stop the bus driver takes a break in front of the Sandburg residence hall. This is not accounted for on the schedule at all. The bus will arrive in front of Sandburg and the app will say it’s arriving at Hartford and Maryland in 4 minutes. It will keep pushing the arrival time back every minute. If I check the app and see that the bus is 4 minutes away, I have no idea if the bus is going to arrive in 4 minutes or 15 minutes after the drivers break. I end up walking to the union and checking the tracker every minute or so to see if the bus has moved. Sometimes the drivers will take breaks for 20-30 minutes and meanwhile I’m waiting with no idea when the bus will arrive. Luckily I can wait across the street in the union instead of at the stop in the cold, but I see many people who trust the app and don’t know about the driver’s break waiting in the cold for up to half an hour. Please fix this. I am so tired of having to wait for a completely unreliable bus. Thanks!!! ### 1/5 — Inaccurate and unreliable *2022-09-26, version 1.5* I’ve used this app for 6+ years and at first I didn’t have too many issues with it, but recently I moved and started taking a different bus than usual and this app has become completely and entirely useless. I’ve been late to work half a dozen times solely because of bus drivers being late and this app not showing accurate information. It will say that a bus is approaching a stop when it’s not, it will say that a bus came and went and then I see the bus go by 4 minutes later after I’ve already left the bus stop. And every single day the buses disappear from the map once they reach a certain area in Milwaukee and then reappear as they get closer. When this happens the app will say the bus is 5 minutes away, then 4, then 3 and then the bus reappears on the map and it goes back up to 5 or 6 minutes. Combine the unreliability of this app with bus drivers being inconsiderate and you have an awful public transit system. ### 1/5 — Inconsistent & Inaccurate *2022-09-09, version 1.5* I use this app every day and every day it is consistently wrong. Says my bus is “approaching stop” when it is over half a mile away, says it is approaching for 20+ minutes or will not show up at all. Sometimes times fluctuate so much it will say I have 20 minutes until a bus arrives and 5 minutes later it says it’s 5 minutes away, then back up to 10 minutes moments later. There has never been consistency with it for the past several years I have used it. Really hoping this can get resolved. ### 1/5 — Lol *2022-06-01, version 1.5* This is trash. Umos is trash too. The buses are not where this ap says they are. You’re standing at the corner and one page of this ap is like: bus is arriving now, then the map page of the ap shows no bus for miles. Clicking that tab brings up the language option and I select English and immediately get an error saying I’m not connected to the Internet. I have both Wi-Fi and cellular data turned on and obviously I’m writing this review using the Internet.
