## What is McWordy?

McWordy is a fast, focused word-finding game for iPad and iPhone. Trace your finger across adjacent letters to spell as many words as you can before the timer runs out. The longer the word, the more it scores.

— SIX GRID SIZES —
Play classic 4×4 boards or push yourself on grids up to 8×8 — and a tight 3×3 for quick rounds.

— PICK YOUR PACE —
Round timers from one minute up to ten, plus an unlimited mode for relaxed play.

— REAL DICE, REAL WORDS —
4×4 and 5×5 boards use the authentic 16- and 25-die letter sets. Larger boards use weighted English letter frequency for balanced play. Word validity is checked against a 270,000-word dictionary.

— SCORING —
Points scale by length: 3 letters earn 60, 5 letters earn 200, 7 letters earn 420, and an 8-letter word is worth 560. Find longer words to climb the board.

— TRACK YOUR BEST —
Per-grid, per-timer high scores for both total points and most words found. Longest-ever word saved per configuration. New-best notifications celebrate every personal record.

— END-OF-ROUND REVIEW —
After every round, see your full word list, every word you missed, and tap any word to see its path on the board.

Seven tile palettes and seven wallpapers — mix and match to your taste. Light and dark options for any time of day.

What's new in this build:
• High Scores browser. From the main menu, tap "High Scores" to revisit your best results — filter by grid size (3×3 to 8×8), timer length, and switch between top scores and longest words.
• Per-bucket leaderboards. Each grid-size + timer combination keeps its own top-100 list, with newest entries breaking ties so older records hold their rank.
• Player name. Settings now lets you pick the name attached to your high scores.
• End-of-round screen now writes to the new high score store, so previously tracked records carry forward.

Tester focus areas:
• Play a few rounds at different grid sizes and timer lengths and confirm scores show up in the High Scores screen under the matching filters.
• Edit the player name in Settings and verify it appears on freshly recorded scores.
• Try the trash-icon reset — confirm it clears every list across grid sizes and timers.

Improved board generation: dice tables now match the original Wurdle exactly. Added a "Wordmaster" toast when you find the longest possible word on the board.
