### 1/5 — Where are the appointments!

*2018-02-16, version 5.5*

What is up with the changes? Why am I not able view my appointments? What is this “My Chart” business? Why fix what isn’t broken? Seriously, this is ridiculous.

### 1/5 — All our info disappeared ...

*2018-02-14, version 5.5*

The day before 5 appointments I checked the app and it had totally changed. We were unable to figure out how to get a list of the appointments, times and locations. It seems that they have switched to a different login system with MyChart. Some type of warning and instructions would have been nice. This is not a nice thing to do to cancer patients and their caregivers.

### 1/5 — Terrible update

*2018-02-13, version 5.5*

Updated app doesn't work. No mymdanderson button. Can't see appointments. This is terrible

### 1/5 — What happened to the my appointments tab?

*2018-02-13, version 5.5*

We used to be able to click on my appointments and see upcoming and past appointments. That isn’t even an option anymore.

How else are we supposed to keep track of the appointments especially when they constantly change?

### 1/5 — What happened

*2018-02-11, version 5.5*

What happened to “my md Anderson” in the app. It was the only section that was useful and now it has disappeared. Very upsetting.

### 2/5 — Just got it and already dislike it

*2017-11-24, version 5.4*

I received a message and need to reply back and there’s not way to reply to the message-?????

### 2/5 — Not an improvement!

*2016-08-09, version 4.5*

MDA forgot to properly port over the data from the old site and, instead, dumped in an obscure historical database. Put bluntly, you cannot access appointments, diagnoses, results from bloodwork, scans, etc. even from the past year anywhere except under historical data. Anything new -- post migration -- will be found in current sections. This was bad planning and execution of patient information and management.

### 1/5 — App is awful now!

*2016-06-28, version 4.4*

I now cannot access any of my previous test results/records. Also, links do not work. What a mess. Any plans to repair this soon?

### 1/5 — NEW UPDATED APP DOESN'T WORK!

*2016-06-07, version 4.4*

New and def not improved!
Can't even get it to open!
This was my go to for all my appointments/messages/records/etc.
Bring back the old one or fix the new one!
When you go to app support it even shows that page doesn't exist!

### 1/5 — New APP Colossal Fail

*2016-04-19, version 4.3*

I agree with many other reviewers that the new app is virtually non-functional. They have recognized the inability to access health records like lab reports and radiology reports and 3 weeks ago assured me that the records will be available soon. I checked this morning 4/19/2016 and all I can access is history. Fire the people responsible for the new app and BRING BACK THE OLD APP! The only reason I gave it a 1 is that I can't give it a 0!

### 1/5 — Bring Back the Old Version!

*2016-04-14, version 4.3*

This app is now nonfunctional. I can't even open it. I've tried deleting and reinstalling and nothing changes. The old version was so much better! Please fix it!! I need access to my appts and locations around MDA on my phone. It was so much easier before.

### 1/5 — Appointment functionality neutered

*2016-04-14, version 4.3*

The old app let you look at your appointment history past and present - you entered a start and end date and voila! All your appointments between those two dates were returned. Very useful for tax purposes so that you could document all your medical-related travel for the previous year. Since the new app was released however, you cannot see any appointments other than upcoming ones - both in the app and via the myMDAnderson web page. Grrrr...

With the removal of this functionality, my only recourse was to have the patient billing office generate a report for me detailing all billable procedures in a hope that I could extract the desired appointment date info from that. Double grrr...

As a software development company executive, it is clear to me you have taken one step forward and five steps back here.

### 1/5 — MD Anderson App

*2016-04-04, version 4.3*

POS, before the update this was a good app and was very useful but now after the update the app won't even open. The app crashes every time I try to open after the update.

### 1/5 — App is non-functional

*2016-03-25, version 4.3*

New app doesn't work. It opens and closes.

### 1/5 — Bring back the location

*2016-03-24, version 4.3*

The new update makes it impossible to know where your appointments are, you only know when and that's it no elevator and no floor information. Please let us know so we don't get lost or be late to the appointments.

### 1/5 — I can't do anything

*2016-03-21, version 4.3*

Not working at all

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App sucks

*2026-08-03, version 6.3*

It shows a my chart tab on the app store, but it’s not there when you download. This app is useless with any appointment making or checking my chart.

### 1/5 — MDA Ap for employees

*2021-01-05, version 5.8*

There is nothing here that pertains to employees and in the Ap Store that is how it’s titled

### 1/5 — Horrible App

*2020-05-06, version 5.8*

This app is horrible. It continuously crashes. I expect better from the number 1 cancer center in the world.

### 1/5 — Cannot see my pathology report

*2018-12-18, version 5.7*

I just had cancer surgery two weeks ago and am on pins and needles wanting to know if the cancer was contained and what my prognosis is going to be. I get an email saying I have a new test result and immediately go to the app. The app lists the path report but doesn’t give the result and says to go to the website. The website does not have it and doesn’t even list multiple lab results that are on the app!
Very heartbreaking for the top cancer hospital to drop the ball on having such a crummy app.

### 1/5 — Complete waste of time

*2018-05-28, version 5.6*

Waste of time, do not download. Has absolutely no beneficial information. Large link to donate money, though.

### 1/5 — Not wat a used to be...

*2018-05-05, version 5.6*

It used to be practical and user friendly...I really liked it. Now it is a completely different app. The previous one was really useful now it is useless...now I’m going to make space on my phone...

### 1/5 — It’s changed

*2018-04-27, version 5.6*

I can no longer log on from the app. I’m not using two different sites. This is ridiculous.

### 1/5 — Appt is noGood

*2018-04-09, version 5.6*

I can not see my records and have to go to medical records. Md number 1058351. This app is worthless. Do not put patients in an arms way. I figured MD ANDERSON would have a better app. I hope you are not paying the computer app that figured out to let customers go. The VA medical app is better for same reasons.

### 1/5 — New updates are horrible.

*2018-03-26, version 5.5*

I've been using this app for years. I'm looking for my appointments and nothing is there. Mymdanderson is not there anymore. This app is useless to me. I will be removing it and will use the website mymdanderson instead.

### 1/5 — I’m a tech savvy stage 4 cancer patient and I throughly dislike your app

*2018-03-12, version 5.5*

I’m a Stage 4 cancer patient. I don’t have time to waste on your app that doesn’t function properly. I can’t even see the messages I’ve sent my providers, for starters. Also, I’m not interested in going to a completely separate app for what I need to do. I might as well use the full website. I’ll be deleting both app off of all of my devices. For the #1 cancer hospital in the U.S. I expect a lot more out of your technology.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent...helps navigate a huge complex.

*2019-05-30, version 5.7*

Found the app after being here for two days. The staff are very helpful with directions, but this app is much better. I am so glad it is available.

### 5/5 — Amazing!!!

*2018-12-02, version 5.7*

To the previous review, shame on you for giving a bad review to an app that helps you save time. I’m also a stage 4 cancer patient and yes you need this app plus another app called MyChart to make this process efficient. You can set up MyChart so you can log in with your finger print, so easy. Your phone notifies you if you have any messages or a new appointment. If you have ever been to M.D. Anderson, you know it is a big place and you have to constantly look at your appointments to see what floor and what elevator you need to use. Using this app helps you save time by making it easy to look at those appointments quickly by just logging in with your finger print. You can send messages to your doctor, keep track of your billing, see your list of diagnoses, keep track of your test results, see the latest in cancer news and treatment, also you can check in to your appointments before arriving by answering questions and updating your list of medications so you don’t have to answer those annoying questions from a nurse. For some of us It gets annoying answering the same questions over and over, that the answers rarely change. With these apps you can avoid all of that. Remember to download the M.D. Anderson app and the MyChart app and save time and also stay informed. I pray for all those who have cancer.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2015-11-25, version 1.0.0*

I love this app! It is beautifully designed and very easy to use. It is so easy to see my appointment schedule and so convenient since it's on my phone.

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2014-07-29, version 1.0.0*

Works fine for me, convenient to have this in an app (although the website is good too). I hope they figure out why some others are having trouble logging in.

### 5/5 — Excellent. Thank you.

*2014-02-11, version 1.0.0*

I've been waiting on this app for quite some time. A robust first effort and worth the wait. Well done.

### 4/5 — Great app for Maintaining Schedule

*2014-01-28, version 1.0.0*

Been to MD Anderson less than a week and this has helped a lot to keep track of schedules, messages, and directions.

The only thing it needs to get the 5 stars is the ability to save your password and I understand that might not be possible given the nature of the content.

### 3/5 — Please go back

*2018-02-23, version 5.5*

Please go back to not using the mychart app. It was much more convenient using the md Anderson app and not the mychart app. I am now having trouble finding my MRN. The md Anderson app was also much more appealing to look at than the my chart app. I hope you go back to using just your app instead of redirecting to the mychart app.

### 3/5 — Old version was better

*2016-03-22, version 4.3*

Current version doesn't show where the appointments are located if you have never been to that location it becomes pointless. One good thing is that you can refill your prescription from the app if the pharmacy put in the medications from the old system correctly. Please fix that!!

### 3/5 — Schedule list

*2016-03-05, version 4.3*

The old schedule listing show the time, location, elevator, & floor on one page. The update only shows the day & appointment. Must go to a separate page to see time. No elevator or floor. For those of us that have been treated for a while we have become familiar, more or less, with the elevator & floor. Newbies will be lost. Even those of us under treatment can get lost at times. It is a big place. Go back to the old format.

### 3/5 — Login Doesn't Work -UPDATE

*2014-10-12, version 1.0.0*

Login doesn't work on iPad or iPhone. Computer browser works fine.
Update per MDA: The website will not let you enter more than 12 characters which you can see if you watch while typing it in. The mobile application will let you enter more than 12, but the login will then fail. Shorten the password to 12 characters or less and it will work.
