You have to pay a subscription to unlock other clocks, still great clock app! 4.5 out of 10. ### 3/5 — Potential = huge. Currently? = meh. *2026-03-05, version 2.65.1* Though a few themes are REALLY cool (& potentially worth downloading just for the free trial) - I feel it still has a long way to go before being worth the yearly $10 sub. With the current economy & the large decline in frivolous spending especially with younger generations, a YEARLY app sub needs to earn its place. & though this isn’t the most essential app by design, I’m not asking it to be - just do what you do extremely well! And I’d consider option to make custom clocks AND customize existing designs necessary and inevitable features. That alone would overhaul this by over 50%! Also not enough variety in almost all categories, plus the one that did seemed mostly mediocre filler quality. There is too much potential ideas for sick clock designs please don’t squander your potential potential! ### 2/5 — Pls add cool countdown clocks for free *2026-03-03, version 2.65.1* It’s good but pls add free countdown clocks, and make everything free too ### 2/5 — Not worth the hassle *2026-02-02, version 2.63* Has said “swipe for more clocks” on the clock screen since installing the app. Nothing happens when I swipe, and it doesn’t go away. I used the icon at the bottom right to turn the sound off, and to choose a new clock face. Once I leave the screen and come back, the icons at the bottom right are gone and I can’t change settings unless I restart the app and see the icons again. I scrolled through the clock options, which are nice. The problem is that I closed out the app, but suddenly there’s a random stopwatch counting seconds on my iPhone’s Dynamic Island. When I click the Dynamic Island, it just takes me to a clock on the MD Clock app. There are no timers or stopwatches set in the app or on my phone. How do I make this stop? Now and then there’s a bug but it gets fixed fairly quickly.
