Rolling out a new app and not increasing call centre staff. On hold for 2 hours and still no one to talk to. Not happy.

I used to like members equity, but they have drifted since being ME. I still don’t like all the hoops, inspired by other banks, you used to be different!

Just upgraded to a new iPhone 17 (iOS 26.3) and the app does not open. Worked fine on previous 16e.

Probably to worst customer service I’ve ever come across.
Locked me out of my app due to some verification, told me it would be 3 days then after calling them multiple times they inform me on the third day they’re still verifying and will be up to another 28 days… no other information or response. Provided with an email to check the progress of the issue but never get a response. How can they function like this ?
Easily the worst customer service I’ve come across and for a bank to do this is mind blowing.

As the title say, it’s unusable on iOS 26. I hit the app icon, it opens and then crashes. I have deleted it and redownloaded it and it still does it. I’ve restarted my phone, it still does it. It’s cooked and needs an update immediately.

Would be a zero if I could.
Accounts were transferred over. I tried to get on, did the 2 factor id and told “oh no can’t log you on” told had to call.
When I called I spent 1/2 hr on phone and told there’s nothing wrong with account please continue to log on.
Can someone explain how keeping logging on changes anything when you can’t log on.
Pretty poor for mandatory change over.

I’ve lost all confidence in this bank - if they can’t even build the most basic of apps, how are they managing other aspects of banking. I’d avoid them completely.
