For a financial institution to not have a robust app that can perform basic & expected functions - this is an embarrassment. Unfortunately, my experience with ME Go has been extremely disappointing. I’ve spent more than an hour on hold each day trying to speak with someone about my money, with no success. Last week I transferred funds and also had rent paid by a tenant into my account, but the money still hasn’t appeared. After more than five business days, I still don’t know whether there has been an error or where the funds are. Until this is resolved, I have no confidence in transferring a larger sum through the ME Go app. To make matters worse, the app doesn’t provide a secure messaging option like ING or CommBank, so there is no easy way to contact the bank other than waiting on hold. When customers are trying to locate missing funds, they should be able to get answers promptly. As a long-term customer with a mortgage and other banking needs, I find the lack of communication and customer support unacceptable.
