Where it falls down is the timer to turn the unit off. Once the timer has been set, if you look at any other app on your phone, the app forgets the timer and the unit will run indefinitely. As many other reviews have stated, the + button on the home page simply doesn't work. The only way I managed to pair the app was by searching the internet. The app detected the unit almost instantly and everything synced perfectly. I can monitor the humidity levels, adjust settings remotely, and create schedules with ease. The connection has been stable and reliable, with no dropouts or pairing problems so far. The Arete Two itself is quiet, efficient and easy to use, and the app makes it even more convenient. It's refreshing to see a smart appliance where the software actually works as intended.
