## What is Meal Maker?

Meal Maker plans your week's meals, works out what the groceries will really cost, and lets the whole household have a say. It's free: no account, no subscription, no ads, and nothing to buy.

SCROLL, PICK, DONE
A feed of big food photos. Double-tap the ones you fancy and they go straight into your week. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert each have their own tab, so you fill the gaps you actually have. Prefer swiping? The card deck is one tap away.

HUNDREDS OF RECIPES
Classic comfort food, takeout-style favorites, Italian, Indian, Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, BBQ, slow cooker, air fryer, batch cooking, quick beginner dinners, and desserts both classic and lower-sugar. Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free are filtered properly, not bolted on.

USE IT UP
Cooking for one or two? When your week means buying a pack you'll only use part of, Meal Maker shows meals that finish it, so the rest of the cream, chicken or cilantro becomes another dinner instead of waste.

HONEST PRICES, BEFORE YOU SHOP
Most planners price the exact grams a recipe uses. Real shopping doesn't work like that: you buy the whole pack. Meal Maker prices whole packs, counts an ingredient once when two meals share it, and drops anything you already have. Add the stores you use and compare them side by side. Tell it what things really cost and it learns what your store charges.

THE WHOLE FAMILY, ONE PLAN
Start a household and share the code. Everyone suggests meals and votes; you decide how many each person can suggest, put a day against each winner and lock the week in. Set nutrition guidelines for the household and everyone picks from meals that meet them.

NUTRITION TARGETS, IF YOU WANT THEM
High protein, lower calorie, low carb, more veggies or low sugar in one tap, or set your own figures per meal. Meals that fit come first, or show only those.

A SHOPPING LIST THAT MAKES SENSE
Everything from your week in one list, sorted by aisle, so you walk the store once.

COOK MODE
Big, readable steps, one at a time, with timers set to the times the recipe calls for.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No sign-up and no tracking. Your plans, budget and shopping list stay on your phone. The optional Family feature stores only what the household needs to vote, and nothing else.

Prices are estimates based on typical pack prices for your chosen store and will differ from your receipt. Nutrition figures are approximate. Meal Maker gives cooking suggestions, not dietary or medical advice. Always read ingredient labels yourself if you have an allergy.

A fresh look, and a feed you'll actually want to scroll.

Scroll, don't swipe. Discover is now a feed of big, square food photos. Double-tap a picture to add it to your week, tap the words underneath for the full recipe. Prefer the swipe deck? It's one tap away.

Use it up. Cooking for one or two? When your week means buying a pack you'll only use part of, Meal Maker suggests meals that finish it, so the rest of the cream or chicken becomes another dinner instead of waste.

New colors. Green for the brand, a deep secondary for headings and days of the week, and a warm apricot for money, so prices stand out from everything else. Each of the four themes has its own set, and every combination is checked for easy reading.

More than one store. Add every store you shop at. Compare shops puts yours first.

Nutrition presets. High protein, lower calorie, low carb, more veggies or low sugar, in one tap each.

Your profile. Who you cook for, what you avoid and where you shop, all on one screen that can sit on the bottom bar.

Made for every iPhone, from the SE to the Pro Max.

Also: the Family feature now remembers you if you reinstall, recipes use American cooking terms and °F when your phone is set to the US, and the loading screen matches the new icon.

Still free. No accounts, no ads, no subscriptions.

Plan the week together, and know what it costs.

Family meal planning. Start a household, share the code, and everyone suggests meals for the week and votes on them. Swipe through the suggestions like a deck, put a day against each meal, and lock the winners into your plan. Whoever sets it up decides how it runs: everyone suggests, or just the organisers shortlist. Add your own family recipes — the ones that aren't in any book — so they can be voted on too.

Nutrition targets, if you want them. An optional part of setup for anyone counting calories, building protein, managing blood sugar or just trying to get more veg in. Set what a meal needs to look like and we'll either put matching meals first or show you only those. Set them for a whole household and everyone picks from meals that meet them.

Prices that get better the more you shop. Tap any price on your shopping list to say what it really costs. Log what a shop came to and, after three, every estimate at that store is tuned to what your branch actually charges. Every price now says where it came from — your receipt, a live price, or an estimate.

Make it yours. Choose which four screens sit on the bottom bar.

Fixed: the day picker on the plan now works.

Still completely free, with no accounts and no ads.
