## What is Meal Planner & Menu?

Most meal planners hand you an empty week and wish you luck. 7Mealz Meal Planner hands you a system.

7Mealz Meal Planner is built around a simple, proven planning method. Set it up once in five minutes, then repeat it every week in a few taps - instead of staring at a blank grid on Sunday night wondering what's for dinner.

THE SYSTEM — FOUR STEPS, ONCE

1. Build your go-to list
The 10-15 dinners you already like and know how to make. Not 500 saved recipes you'll never cook. Start from our suggestions, or bring your own.

2. Pick your "I can't even" meals
Under 15 minutes, ingredients you always have, zero emotional investment. These keep a bad Tuesday from becoming takeout you regret. Aim for 3-5.

3. Describe your typical week
Which evenings are hard? Which have room to cook? Which night are you out? Plan for reality, not the ideal. Every day gets an effort level: Easy, Easy + make extra, Leftovers, "I can't even", More involved, Out, or Skip.

4. Pick your planning day
One consistent day a week - ideally one where you can shop the same or next day. We'll remind you.

Now your week has a shape before you choose a single meal.

EVERY WEEK AFTER THAT TAKES MINUTES

• Your week arrives pre-structured
Each day already knows how much effort it can hold. You never decide "what kind of day is Wednesday" again - you only pick which meal fills it.

• Only the meals that fit
Tap a day and you see only the meals from your collection that match it. Hard Monday? Easy go-tos only. Saturday with margin? Your more involved favourites. Drop a long cook onto a hard night and the app asks if you're sure.

• Or let the app plan it
Tap Plan for me and 7Mealz Meal Planner deals a full week from your own meals, rotating them so you're not eating the same four dinners forever.

• Cook once, eat twice
Mark a day "make extra" and the next day becomes Leftovers, linked back to the meal that made them - and the grocery list doubles the quantities. Lunch can come from last night's dinner too.

• A grocery list that builds itself
One tap turns your week into an organised shopping list, grouped by aisle, easy to edit, ready to share or export as a PDF. Make-extra days are already counted in.

• A prep plan for the small stuff
"Thaw the chicken for Thursday." "Start the stew the night before." Short nudges on the right day, so nothing is discovered at 6pm.

BUILD YOUR COLLECTION FROM ANYWHERE

• From the web - search "butternut squash soup", pick the one you like, tap save.
• From a photo - cookbook page, magazine, handwritten card, screenshot. Snap it and the whole recipe comes across.
• From Instagram, TikTok or any app - share it straight into 7Mealz Meal Planner.
• By hand - a name is enough. Not every meal needs a recipe.

File each meal by effort once, and the planner always knows where it belongs.

WHAT THIS ACTUALLY CHANGES

• Less deciding. "What should we eat?" gets answered once a week, from a short list you already trust.
• Less waste, less money. You buy what you'll actually use - no impulse buys, nothing forgotten at the back of the fridge.
• Fewer store runs. One planning day, one shop, one list.
• Fewer collapses. Bad days are planned for, not survived.
• A routine you can keep. Weekly reminder, five minutes, done.

MADE FOR REAL WEEKS

Feeding a family, cooking for one, or surviving a run of late meetings - the rhythm bends to your life. Healthy eating, batch cooking, low-carb, high-protein: any routine fits, because the meals are yours.

Plus a home screen widget with your plan at a glance, a clean simple design, and sync across your devices.

WHY USERS LOVE 7MEALZ MEAL PLANNER

• A method, not just an empty calendar
• Weekly planning in minutes
• Visual, drag-and-drop week
• Great for families and busy schedules
• Finally, a meal planning routine that sticks

Set it up once. Plan in minutes. Eat what you actually meant to eat.

### 5/5 — Perfect with OrganizEat

*2025-12-15*

This app is so useful!! I can just type in where I am going out to eat or paste in the recipe I plan to make from OrganizEat. It’s so easy!! An app I didn’t know I needed really makes my life easier!!

### 5/5 — Love the flexibility!

*2025-12-11*

I’m a long time user of Oganizeat and I confess that I was not sure that this would add enough to my life to make me want to use it, and I’ve only just started looking at it, but I’m already seeing some great benefits. I’ve gotten away from meal planning lately and I would really like to get back to it, but my family has some added complexities with different people eating different things. I tend to use a spreadsheet if I’m going to bother at all, but to be able to automate that would be terrific. The first thing I noticed is that you can add your own meal types. It sounds simple, but having that as a configurable option is so helpful when you have different people eating different things for whatever reason. So I can choose for for example, Dinner, if everyone is eating the same thing, but I also created Dinner – A and dinner – C so that if different people are having different things, I can choose their option and have it show right on my weekly planner.

### 5/5 — Makes meal plannjng so easy

*2025-12-09*

I absolutely love that it reaches out to the web so I don’t have to once again type in my recipes but I do wish it had multiple pages and a “save page” so I could retrieve a page for reuse.

### 3/5 — Great app for a new audience!

*2025-12-07*

As a long time Organized Eats user, would have loved to have seen this feature integrated into the existing app, or the ability to access my recipes directly from Organized Eats.

For a new user this visual means to meal plan works great!

### 4/5 — My Honest Review from Susan

*2025-12-07*

I am a long time subscriber to Rachel and Michael’s other app, OrganizEats (OE). I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that app. I also absolutely love their customer service. Whenever I have had a question they were very prompt and helpful in answering me.
I had a question with this app, 7Mealz, ‘can you transfer recipes from OrganizEats’, (yes there is away) AND AGAIN…..very prompt and helpful.
What I like about 7Mealz is that you can plan out and see the whole 1 week menu with the recipes.

I am still trying it out and remains to be seen whether I will purchase this app in the future. Though ‘I’ like to see the ‘just one week’ at a time menu with an easy click on the recipes, I do find that OE provides that for me in a
round about way in which I am fine with.

Thanks Rachel and Michael.

### 1/5 — 7malz

*2025-12-06*

This app is not for me. When I opened I was totally confused! Tried going somewhere else in the app but only had one choice. This is probably a great app for someone very well organized. At 81 and just two of us e kind of decide meals on the fly. Had used your organized eat program for years and absolutely love it ! Sorry I couldn’t give this app a thumbs up 🥲

### 5/5 — They did it again!

*2025-12-05*

Made the perfect app to make meal planning easy! They started with Organizeeat and continued on their never ending quest to provide meaningful apps to help us keep us organized and yes I will say it…sane! Well done!

### 5/5 — Great helper

*2025-12-04*

Great concept! New to this app & still learning all that it can do. Staff have been wonderful any questions I may have.
