### 4/5 — After transition what next? How about adding the 3&3?

*2021-07-19, version 1.32*

This app has been such a help in my 5&1 journey- I’m starting transition and it’s not a perfect match. But then at the end of transition, what next? I’d love to keep using it if there was a 3&3 option.

### 4/5 — Jump to Current Week

*2021-03-11, version 1.29*

I really like this app and use it daily on my fitness and diet journey. The ore recommendation and request I would like to make is to add the ability to jump to the week and day for the current measurements and tracking when opening the app or responding to a notification. Getting to the current week is scrolling nightmare after many weeks of use.

### 4/5 — Works great

*2021-01-11, version 1.28*

Meal Replacer works great for Optivia 5&1 I only wish it would sync with iPhone and iPad. I started with the iPad and when I’m out I tried use my iPhone and it doesn’t sync. Too bad!

### 4/5 — Seems good except...

*2020-10-07, version 1.28*

I’m new to this app, but it seems to remove your measurements and photos periodically.

### 4/5 — Decent app!

*2020-09-08, version 1.27*

This app has been a great tool for doing optivia 5 in 1, much better than there own app which is garbage. My only suggestion would be to maybe add a way to see the time that you last ate in addition to the alarm reminder.

### 4/5 — Good but wish I didn’t pay

*2020-05-05, version 1.23*

I love how close this follows the OPTAVIA program, but I upgraded to the 3.99 because it says alarm but it only sends a silent notification. I feel the 3.99 gave no value and I can’t see what time the fuelings are/ or will be (that’s another separate charge) Was hoping the upcharge would have given me more

### 4/5 — Good tracking app

*2020-04-05, version 1.22*

I love the app. The two things I would like added: have the app open to the last day of data input and the ability to add more than 8 glasses of water.

### 4/5 — Needs a better app support contact method

*2019-11-16, version 1.18*

I have lived this app but the last update to avoid crashes with iOS 13.2 has only resulted in crashes. I waited for a new update but all that came out was one with in-app purchases. The app support link is worthless and that is why I’m only giving 4 stars. I’m still hoping for an update to fix the update.

### 4/5 — Good app. Needs a few things

*2019-10-25, version 1.15*

So far this is the best app for the optavia plan. Even better than dr a’s app. The only thing I wish it had would be the ability to have transition as a separate meal plan rather than on the end of each meal plan. Or to have a maintenance plan on here as well. I’m already at transition but still would like to keep track. You have to scroll all the way to the bottom each time you want to log. Also down the road logging the actual foods would be fab

### 4/5 — Great app but need more in settings

*2019-10-16, version 1.15*

It is a great app to track Optavia plan. However, if you get off track and want to restart there isn’t a way to start over all you can do is add weeks. Please develop a restart button!

### 4/5 — Good start

*2019-09-19, version 1.15*

This is generally a good tracker for Optavia 5&1. I would really like to see a countdown added. Sometimes it motivates me if I can see how much time I have until my next fueling. Helps me plan and push through where needed.

### 4/5 — Great! Hope more features are added

*2019-08-18, version 1.15*

Just what I was looking for! Would like 1/2 pirtion options on condiments, etc. have been experimenting with recipes and hacks and making it harder to keep track when splitting up meals or condiments.

### 4/5 — Optavia Member Experience

*2019-07-14, version 1.15*

For anyone who has trouble keeping track of fuelings, water intake, optional snack, and L&G, this app has it all. After logging a fueling, it automatically sets a timer for 2.5 hours after which it reminds you to fuel. Only thing I would add is the ability to customize timers (for example, if I wanted timer set to 3 hours) and cloud syncing across devices. Other than that, this app has been tremendously helpful to me so I can focus on other things rather than trying to keep track of my intake by hand, memory, or a notetaking app. And it’s free (supported by nonintrusive ads)! Hope this is as helpful to some of you as it has been to me.

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with this app. Just a huge fan!

### 4/5 — Good start, but would like more features

*2019-07-06, version 1.15*

This app has been the closest to matching up with Optavia’s 5&1 program; however, it would be even better if there were a way to track additional meal replacements (fuelings), since most days I am eating more than 5 fuelings (which need to be consumed every 2-2.5 hours while awake). So if you’re having a long day, or in general are awake for more hours than others, as it is right now, you can only track 5 fuelings and one protein meal and veggie (Lean and Green).

The same issue exists with tracking water. 64 oz may be the minimum goal, but for many of us, it is 100 oz. It would be great if instead of having all those cup icons, to simply be able to tap a + and have the number of cups for the day increase, and be reflected as a number. This way, even those who go over 100 oz of water will be able to keep an eye on their intake to be careful of not drinking too much.

Thanks to the creator of this app, it’s a good start so far to matching up to optavia’s program. But for now, I’m still searching for an app that will allow me more fields that I can add to track some of the other healthy habits I’m learning to implement from Optavia. Perhaps you could add customizable “Trackers”, similar to the Strides app? Don’t get me wrong, the Strides app isn’t the perfect fit for Optavia as it sits. But I do like the customization for creating trackers for anything you’re wanting to instill as a habit.

### 1/5 — Burn phase is burned w

*2020-10-13, version 1.28*

App doesn’t let you change the Burn phase except for 12 weeks and greater. My Burn phase is only 3 weeks

### 1/5 — Used to be good

*2020-07-06, version 1.25*

Used to be good, but now they want to charge you for the notifications, so I’m using another app now.

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly on my Xmas

*2019-11-26, version 1.20*

Loved this app for 11 weeks. Crashed a month ago and will no longer open. Pity.....with multiple subsequent updates.

### 2/5 — Crashes when opening on iOS 13

*2019-12-04, version 1.20*

Just updated phone XR to iOS 13.2.3, and app crashes upon opening. Loved the app, but can’t use now, or access any old needed data, please fix!

### 3/5 — More

*2021-09-08, version 1.32*

Include a automatic calculator for amount and limits for the day.

### 3/5 — Not Perfect But Not Bad

*2021-07-08, version 1.32*

I have to say this app is better than any I’ve seen for tracking the 5&1 meal plan. I would really like to see the Meal Overview screen designed so I don’t have to scroll to the current week. I’m just starting out with this plan, but after week 4 it’s going to be a pain.

I’m going to use this for a while longer to see if it holds up, before deciding to upgrade for the other options.

### 3/5 — Sounds

*2020-06-28, version 1.25*

Can you help me figure out why I can not hear an alarm when it is time to have my next meal or snack? I have the notifications set to on and I do not have it on mute. Thank you for your help!

### 3/5 — Great Start

*2019-05-20, version 1.13*

Great help, especially when you are starting out. Would love to be able to see the “alarm until next fueling” countdown to help be able to fit your fueling in your schedule since there is a 2-3 hour window rather than a strict 2.5 hours. Also I sometimes forget to come back to check off that I’ve had a fueling. It might be nice to include a “have you eaten your fueling” reminder maybe at 2.75/3 hrs. Overall though super helpful.

### 3/5 — App crashing

*2019-04-24, version 1.1*

I downloaded the app, entered the measurements then clicked on the photo’s section. I clicked the + to add the photos and it crashes the app. Everything else seems to be functional though. I hope this gets fixed quickly. Will change rating when it does.. I have contacted developers at their site.

### 4/5 — Meal replacer app- needs more detail

*2021-11-29, version 1.32*

This is good at tracking basic Optavia plan requirements. I feel it could go a step further to be able to track lean ozs and 1/2 condiments.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Was great - but won’t open after upgrade

*2025-04-24, version 1.40*

Love love love the app. But since the upgrade yesterday - the app won’t open. I feel lost without it! iPhone 13 - IOS 18.3.2. Help!!!

### 5/5 — Great App for Optiva 5-1 Plan

*2021-07-09, version 1.32*

Overall I think this app is great! It follows the plan to a tee. It shows exactly what is requires and automatically has timer for next fueling. You can put in pictures and measurements 3 times. Couple of improvements would be options to add more weeks, more pictures & measurements. I know I can reset the app, but prefer to see total journey on one app. My journey will be longer than 12 weeks.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-06-27, version 1.25*

I really love this app, I use it several times a day to track my water and fuelings. The only change that I would suggest is that the current week is on top, and previous weeks are below. I feel like this would be a lot more user friendly in that you could just open the app and your current week is right there, you don’t have to scroll down to weeks 5, or 10, or 24, which seems a little inconvenient. Putting your previous weeks underneath can help you to reflect and see where you were and watch your progress. It isn’t really helpful to have weeks of blank spaces reminding you how far you have to go. That being said, I highly recommend this app!!

### 5/5 — Great Help

*2019-09-10, version 1.15*

Love this app. I love there is a place to track all my fuelings and the reminders to eat. I only wish the weeks were in reverse. It’s frustrating having to scroll down each time. Also, a way to track 1/2 condiments would help as well.

### 5/5 — Great Medifast Tracker

*2019-09-01, version 1.15*

This app does what I need. It tracks my meals and weight without getting in my way.

If I have a suggestion, it is to make the data cloud based so I can coordinate among various devices.

I’d willingly pay for that!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-07-25, version 1.15*

This app is an absolute game changer. I only wish is had a countdown timer.

### 5/5 — Timer

*2019-07-09, version 1.15*

This is very helpful on the Optavia plan! I’m only 4 days in but would really like to be able to SEE the timer counting down. Wondering if that could be in a future update!!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2019-06-28, version 1.15*

This is awesome!! Any chance you’re considering adding the 3 and 3 plan or the teen program? I want to make this easy for my daughter to track.

### 5/5 — So helpful

*2019-05-29, version 1.13*

I love this. It is very helpful with keeping track of everything.

### 5/5 — Love it!!!!

*2019-04-20, version 1.1*

Great app!!!
