App won’t generate a new meal plan, it’s slow sometimes when you try to add or remove recipes. Tells you to try later??? Support is also slow to respond. Not what you would expect from a paid for app. ### 2/5 — What has happened? *2026-08-11, version 2.5.4* This last update has made the app unusable. It won’t change meal plan. Won’t change supermarket. Won’t accept recipe changes. Please review it was so very helpful before! ### 2/5 — Charged for free trial *2026-07-31, version 2.5.2* I selected the free trial to give this app okay, sounded like a great idea and way to change meals up and save money. After selecting the free trial I was immediately charged £30 for the year. I have contacted support twice and haven’t received a response yet. Can’t comment on the app itself as I haven’t used it for its purpose. Just be wary as the free trial doesn’t seem to actually be free. ### 2/5 — Access *2026-07-29, version 2.5.2* Not impressed that no one has contacted me after I emailed twice about the access problem I am having. The app looks great but after paying I have no access! ### 2/5 — Ai is confused *2026-07-25* This is only giving me options in English pounds despite explaining I’m the USA. This was caused by a small glitch when we released the latest version of the app, but it’s now been fixed, so everything should work correctly 😊 ### 2/5 — Lack of Vegan options *2026-07-22* While I love the idea for the app itself in being able to have my recipes and shopping all in one place, the bot and vegan options leave much to be desired. I attempted to create meal plan multiple times trying different options but could not seem to get the bot to show any meals which were vegan friendly and would show meat or dairy options when I requested no meat or dairy. I can appreciate that the app may not show vegan alternative products for shopping but this is something I think needs work in the future. **Developer response:** Hi, we’re really sorry for the confusion, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We don’t currently support vegan meal plans, so we’ve just released an update that makes this clearer when vegan options are requested. We’re actively working on adding vegan support, but we want to make sure it’s accurate and reliable before releasing it 😊 ### 4/5 — Convenient and quick *2026-07-16, version 2.4.17* This app is brilliant so far! I did the free week trial and decided I needed to keep it! So many recipes to choose from and the transfer straight to our weekly Tesco shop couldn’t be simpler! ### 2/5 — adversitsed as a free app *2026-07-11, version 2.4.17* this app is supposed to help you save money but u have to buy a subscription instead? unless u are preparing the food as ur using it (which ur not because i have to buy ingredients) you lose access to the meal u just saw and have to go through hundreds of meal plans until u see it again ### 3/5 — Looks smart but not practical *2026-07-09, version 2.4.16* When trying to follow the recipe it assumes you weigh and measure everything before you start cooking - which maybe you do if you’re an influencer, but I just add as I go along (saves on washing up!) problem is you cant easily see measurements and have to flick around the app. Not made any of the recipes they suggest but have imported my family favourites, and this does help with planning the weekly shop. ### 1/5 — Kind of complicated *2026-06-29* The meal suggestions are still really off and the AI doesn’t work for answering questions. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-06-28* It will not connect to my grocery store app. I eventually got the app to connect but was unable to send the grocery list to the store for shopping online for delivery. Sad about this. The recipes a dinner ideas really looked good. Not paying for an app that is not working to help me manage my time better. However I am confused by what each subscription tier gets me. Emailed on several occasions to find out as I wanted to sign up and pay for the year but there are several priced options. No response so I didn’t sign up. More information for each tier would be good and likely get more subscribers. ### 1/5 — So glitchy and basically doesn’t work *2026-06-14, version 2.4.14* I had such high hopes for this app and in principle it should be amazing but it just kept breaking constantly making it pretty much unusable - such a shame. The screen jumps so you can’t read the full instructions or see how much to add. Very poor first experience. ### 1/5 — Bad customer service and unwanted subscription *2026-08-11, version 2.5.4* This is a scam, will take money for a subscription without you agreeing then mess you about when you ask for your money back. Avoid unless you can afford to have your money taken without agreeing. ### 1/5 — Very bad app *2026-08-02* I tried this app out. Froze up so many times trying to set up a grocery list I had to walk away for a min. When it finally did and sent the list to Walmart the list was completely messed up. 12 bell peppers when I only needed one and miracle grow!!! Didn’t know we ate miracle grow!!! Don’t get this app!!! ### 1/5 — Poor AI *2026-07-30, version 2.5.2* Told it multiple times to not include meals with certain ingredients and it just includes more meals with those ingredients. If you have dietary preferences or allergies, don’t bother. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-07-27, version 2.4.18* Mealia asked me what I wanted so I said high protein vegan and low fodmap. Mealia had two recipes, both were high fodmap, it doesn’t seem to have the ability to create recipes on the fly, and it immediately locked both incorrect high fodmap meals behind a paywall requiring immediate payment. Cannot wait for this feature to come to Gemini and ChatGPT, in a version that’s actually useful. This app is over before it began ### 1/5 — Terrible service *2026-07-26, version 2.4.18* The app told me I was eligible for a 7 day free trial- great! So I go through the motions only to be charged £24.99 off the bat! So I cancelled my subscription straight away. Get in touch with their virtual assistant, told someone will be in touch ‘shortly’ I’ve been chasing for 5 days with no response from anyone. I want a refund and based on this experience I will not be continuing to use this service. ### 1/5 — No support for app *2026-07-25, version 2.4.18* I wanted to try out the app so i got the 7 day trial , forgot to cancel it and was billed for the yearly plan. Been trying to get the refund, requests have been denied. Tried to get in touch via email with the developers. No response in weeks. ### 1/5 — 2 options???? *2026-07-17* I shop at Winco. I know you can’t see prices on line since there is no website for it. Also, Walmarts are also starting to use that digital pricing so the prices change at the drop of a hat. This is a great idea. But there is no Kroger in my town and we won’t set a foot into a Walmart. Please add more stores and I will change my rating. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-07-14, version 2.4.17* I put a £60 budget for 2 people, chose Sainsbury’s, put the requirements low calorie High protein meals. Pescatarian and vegetarian and it said there was only 1 recipie i could add to my meal plan. Which is insane. And 0 other matches. So it’s very rubbish and not worth it. ### 1/5 — Think twice before set preferences to Halal *2026-07-13, version 2.4.17* The agent needs more training, and the app would benefit from giving users more control over their account preferences. For example, I asked for halal recipes, but it only suggested vegetarian meals, even seafood was excluded. I then opened a chat with the agent and asked for chicken and meat recipe suggestions, but it repeatedly said it couldn’t find any. It even asked whether I had a specific dish in mind. When I suggested lasagna, it still responded that it couldn’t find any recipes which is weird! I also tried to find where I could review or change these preferences myself, but I couldn’t find the option anywhere.
