There is always a problem trying to order meals. The website is bad too. I know when I order meals it will take multiple attempt at trying to overcome the bad design and clunky UI. I would not use it except it’s the app my kids’ school uses. ### 1/5 — Too limited to be useful *2022-12-29* No calendar view; must go one day at a time, and can’t view entrees and sides all in one screen. Can’t pay for both children at the same time. If you forget which child you’re ordering for, it doesn’t tell you anywhere while you’re in ordering mode. So you have to go back & start over if you want to double check. Overall, web ordering is much better. This app has a long way to go. ### 1/5 — Pretty useless *2022-12-16* All I want is to see what we’ve ordered for next month. I’ve tried clicking on everything in the app and there’s no list. How are we supposed to know in the morning whether or not to pack a lunch? Why can’t we find this most basic info in the app? I just want to print a list of the days we are buying lunch. I understand why the developers thought an app would be a good idea, but this one wasn’t ready for release. It has no useful features and it’s just frustrating. The website is pretty bad also, but at least there you can print what you need, albeit in a pretty messy, non-optimized format. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — From bad to worse *2026-02-19* The recent upgrade is a total disaster. Inherited all poor features from the previous version and added new problems. The orders are not listed chronologically and you cannot scroll down far enough to see the last entry. The filter menu once opened cannot exit. **Developer response:** There was a glitch but it is now fixed. Be sure to update to the latest version and re-login. So I have to go to the website. I find it is ridiculous that I can’t use ACH and I am forced to pay a fee for debit. Very complicated and frustrating. I wish my kids school would go back to the old system. This is not user friendly! ### 1/5 — Why is it so hard? *2024-11-21* 1. Please remember my email address so I don’t have to retype it, or let password managers have access to the field. 2. Please enable Apple Pay or at least store my card. I hate having to renter it. 3. No Per Child Monthly View. Despite Biometrics, 2FA to my email each session. - I have to switch between two apps to login, Each Time. No Authenticator App Support? Latest updated App puts the keyboard on top of the Buttons I need to press. -iPhone SE, also tried sideways Landscape view, same issue. Useless App, glad it was FREE! ### 1/5 — Can’t get into app *2024-08-22* I used the app last year just fine, this year, I am not able to get in. The OTP verification doesn’t match no matter how many times I have the code resent by email. No option to have it sent by cell. ### 1/5 — The worst app on my phone *2024-05-23* It’s a running joke in our family about what will go wrong when I try to do anything in meal manage. For example, I just logged in, viewed orders, and it said my session expired. I can’t pay the balance in full because I can’t enter decimals for payment. Tells me my session is expired when I’ve just entered the code they emailed me (and I have to type my address every time— it doesn’t remember) - can’t pay. Payment fails without explanation. Doesn’t offer ApplePay. I just have a huge balance. - charges a hefty transaction fee each time you pay. - website is just as bad. It’s a comedy of errors every month when we try to order meals. I hope the experience on the school end is phenomenal, but somehow I doubt it. ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2023-12-13* Zero stars ### 1/5 — Perhaps the worst technical app in existence *2023-12-10* Login process for this app rarely works forcing me to try to log in on the website which is almost as bad. When I can get it, it is buggy and often won’t let me chose a meal. I realize this is just for kids lunches but please, give this some thought and a total revamp. ## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated) ### 3/5 — Good start *2022-12-17* Just used this for the first time. It was an easier platform than the website on my phone. Two things I would change. 1. A monthly view would be nice to make sure that I am not missing a day. 2. An easy way to see the/print a monthly calendar to have handy when preparing for the school day! ### 2/5 — Wish I liked it *2025-02-03* Works for ordering. Not helpful when trying to see what you have ordered as this app requires MFA every single time via email.
