Glitched

Cannot get passed the “step 1 of 9” screen after downloading.

Reflection on a week of usage

I’ve been trying this app out for a week now.

1. I really like that I can describe my meal and there’s intelligence behind the app to take a good estimate on some of the key nutrients like carbohydrates, calories, and protein. I’ve purposely added in items that I have the nutrient information on (and which I could have scanned) and the information has been highly accurate. Out of the 10 items that I’ve tested this on, only 1 hasn’t exactly matched.
2. I like that it connects to apple health however not all of the connections are populating.

I know that the app is new - I will continue to use it and offer feedback.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the thoughtful review and for testing MealMate so thoroughly. I’m really glad to hear the AI meal recognition and nutrition estimates have been accurate for you. I’m currently working on improving the Apple Health sync to make sure all connections populate consistently. I truly appreciate your support and feedback.

Not realible

Asking people to download in Reddit for a lifetime subscription and then try to change is definitely not the way to go.

This developer had scammed hundreds of of users over Reddit 100% scam

It was not necessary to ask people to activate trial you could have implemented lifetime for $0 within the app as many developer have done . It’s not the first time time I’m testing and providing feedback and you are the only one requesting to activate a trial and not cancelling . That means Apple will renew and definitely charge you the 29.99 dollars to the Apple ID account if not cancelled by 8 of October . You promise that you enable the lifetime premium . This is not a giveaway.

You are not giving any lifetime give away.
Your scamming people by requesting them to subscribe and not cancel so that you gain the $29.99 and after that you will enable lifetime.

They is scamming selling with lies. It was never a giveaway away

So you give away 20 lifetimes, what a great amount of money have
You earn scamming people $599.8 in just one post and you have published at least in 5 different groups on Reddit

So you are making $2999 in one single day by scamming people

And asking for a refund to Apple is an impossible mission

You could have implemented lifetime for $0 inside your app

This seems like SCAM

Be aware he asks you no to cancel the free trial so that Apple renews and charges you the $29.99 and then he says it will automatically convert to lifetime

He will never give you any lifetime

He is not giving away freelitime He is selling it with lies

100% scam

AI caltracker is on point so far. Interested to see it grow!

So far so good! Typed in “pink drink from Starbucks” and “bourbon chicken with white rice from pei Wei” it got it down very quickly and accurately.

I know it’s made to be focused on macros and it does that super well.
- Would like to be able to adjust portions/serving size
- IF not difficult or more expensive to implement, would be cool to also add in water/fluid intake that syncs to health app + possibly some more nutrition info (like caffeine would be great to track; followed by minerals/vitamins)

Response from developer

Thanks so much for trying MealMate and for the thoughtful suggestions. We’re really glad to hear the AI meal recognition worked well for you. Portion editing is already in development so you can fine-tune serving sizes easily. Water and fluid tracking with Apple Health sync is also on our roadmap, and we plan to expand to caffeine and micronutrients next. Your feedback helps us keep improving MealMate to make nutrition tracking even smoother.
