### 5/5 — The only way I can manage dinners

*2025-12-07, version 1.20.9*

I have 2 little kids, I work and I just don’t have the energy to think about what’s for dinner. So I do a meal plan for the week, do a big shop and then check the app when it’s time til cook so that I can remember what I’m making.
I love the “surprise me”option, when even scrolling through my meals is too overwhelming.

### 5/5 — Best

*2025-01-13, version 1.20.9*

This app changed my life meal planning wise!

### 4/5 — Please add a widget for iPhone!

*2023-11-03, version 1.20.9*

Great app, really like it but please add a widget for iPhone so I can see my meals at a glance on my home screen!

### 5/5 — Great but…

*2023-10-08, version 1.20.9*

This app is genuinely excellent however it would be even better if I could categorise my dishes into breakfast, lunch and dinner to make it easier to navigate through the list of meals. Otherwise this is an excellent app!

### 5/5 — Suggestion for improvement

*2023-01-26, version 1.20.9*

The app is great but it would be good if you could screenshot so you could add a recipe from a cookbook and if when selecting a surprise there were categories for example Indian or Mexican but otherwise exactly what I wanted.

### 5/5 — Convenient, easy to use

*2022-08-23, version 1.20.9*

Great app. Have no complaints. Enables me to plan my meals week by week.

### 5/5 — App-solutely BRILLIANT!

*2022-08-10, version 1.20.9*

This is just what I needed in a food planning app. Ability to create your own meals (brunch is a must), create dishes that the app then remembers and it’s super easy to move things around and change days. This has truly made my weekly food planning so much more efficient. Thank you! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

### 5/5 — Finally, an app to put down my meals

*2022-08-07, version 1.20.9*

I tried four or five apps to meal plan for my family. I didn’t need complex features; all I wanted was the ability to list out what I planned for the week, maybe some notes (suggestion to the creators) and save a link. This is exactly what this is. It shows you the week or month you have planned out, it’s functional and simple, and doesn’t even hide behind a paywall. You can even invite other people to your household. I’m going to invite the kids so they stop the never-ending question of “what’s for dinner?”

### 4/5 — A honest review

*2022-06-19, version 1.19.8*

This app is a really good app, except for the fact that you can’t make the steps to the recipes and can only write down the ingredients. But it is fairly good whenever it comes to planning. So if your looking to find a good meal planning app this is the one.

P.S if you want to get dark mode set your entire device to dark mode

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2022-04-05, version 1.19.8*

I was looking for an app to simply act as a calendar without any fancy recipes or anything so that I could make a plan and stick with it by my own agenda. This app is the embodiment of doing something simple very well, and it is perfect for what I need along with a few extras such as the shopping list. Thank you developers for making something so honestly simple that fulfils it’s purpose so brilliantly!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.20.9 — 2022-07-06

With this update, a feature that has been requested by many users over many years now: a combined shopping list!

You can now switch the shopping list to combine duplicate ingredients for different dishes under a single entry. Shopping for some egg mayo sandwiches today and a French omelette tomorrow? You no longer need to check off eggs multiple times when you just bought a single box.

This feature has taken a long time to implement because we have experimented with many different approaches. It's not easy to make a complicated combination of different amounts and different units (for example, 100ml of milk plus 3tsp of milk) easy to read, while still allowing you to check off only parts of the combined ingredients. But we think we have found something that works well.

Please let us know what you think!
