## What is MealTickt?

Every diet app gives you a plan. MealTickt is the one that rebuilds it.

Tell it your goals, your tastes and what you'll realistically eat, and it builds your week — meals, portions and macros already worked out. Then, each week, it looks at what you actually ate and how your weight is trending, and adjusts the next plan around it.

That's the difference. Life happens, you eat out, you skip a day — and instead of a broken streak and a guilt trip, next week's plan quietly accounts for it. No starting over every Monday.

1. TELL US ABOUT YOU
Age, height, weight, activity level and goal, plus your taste profile, dietary preferences and any allergens.

2. GET YOUR WEEK
MealTickt uses AI to generate a full weekly plan with step-by-step recipes and an automatic grocery list, in under a minute.

3. COOK AND TICK OFF
Follow the plan and tick off what you ate. Swap anything you don't fancy — the plan rebalances around it.

4. NEXT WEEK ADAPTS
Your logged meals and weight trend feed straight into the next plan. Portions, calories and meals adjust as you go.

  • Your coach now notices when logging slips or a meal keeps getting skipped, and checks in without repeating itself
  • Long messages arrive in readable chunks, and the chat input is easier to use on smaller phones

Better plans and logging
  • Disliking ingredients can no longer leave a day short of meals
  • Dietary filters got smarter: the dairy filter now knows skyr and coconut milk, and the gluten filter no longer hides safe chickpea flour
  • Swapping a meal clears its log, and future days now explain why they cannot be logged yet

Fixes
  • Fixed a crash on the Profile tab on iOS and a freeze when logging from a recipe
  • Subscription prices now always match your local App Store pricing

### 2.4.0 — 2026-08-19

Your settings now reshape your plan instead of rebuilding it. Change your goal, meal count, allergies, or portion sizes and we adjust the week you already have—your logged meals, ticked ingredients, and swaps all stay exactly where they were. Updating your weight, height, or age rescales this week's portions straight away.

We actually listen when you say you don't like something. Thumbs-down a meal you haven't eaten yet and we'll offer you a swap on the spot. Disliked recipes stop turning up in your plan, your swaps, and your replacements, and browsing alternatives never shows you the same card twice. Rated a meal you've eaten? You can add a quick reason why.

Cook Mode has its ingredient list. Tap Ingredients on any step for the full list, scaled to your servings, with tap-to-tick rows. Timers now ring with a repeating chime until you answer them, and alerts lead with the step you're on.

Cuisines are a preference, not a filter. Picking a few favourites now steers your plan rather than shrinking the pool of recipes you can be given.

Sharper photos, steadier text. Recipe photography now comes through at much higher resolution, and text scales properly from an iPhone SE to an iPad instead of shrinking or swelling with the screen.

Also in this release:
• A reworked shopping list—packs read as packs, whole rows are tappable, and the action bar gets out of the way once the week is bought.
• Clearer warm-up days: they're no longer called a week, and you can move freely through your plan once they're done.
• The check-in lets you say why you skipped a meal, in your own words.
• Your coach knows more about your day—what you've eaten, skipped, and disliked, your free days, and your meal prep.
• Fixes: streak recovery now fires when it should, the paywall no longer interrupts a check-in, the last onboarding step scrolls on small screens, and plenty more polish throughout.

### 2.3.0 — 2026-08-08

- Cook Mode
Timers now run in parallel across every step — so nothing burns while you're prepping something else. Lock screen notifications fire the moment you background the app, so you're always in the right place at the right time.

- Recipes
We audited the entire recipe library and fixed accuracy issues across calories, macros, and cooking steps. Everything you cook is now exactly what it says it is.

- Lessons
New walkthrough lessons added, with fixes to how your progress through them is tracked.

- Bug fixes and performance improvements.

### 2.2.1 — 2026-07-29

Your coach is now a tap away

- Chat with your coach — ask for meal ideas, swaps or a nudge in the new full-screen chat, whenever you need it
- Meal prep mode got serious — flip on repeat meals and we'll rebuild your whole week around batch cooking in seconds
- Faster from the first tap — quicker launch, your points and streak right there, smoother scrolling everywhere
- Sunday check-ins flow better, with reminders that show up when they should
- Clearer messages on shaky connections, plus a generous helping of visual polish

Cook once, eat well all week — update and let your coach handle the rest.

### 2.2.0 — 2026-07-21

Our biggest update yet. We've rebuilt MealTickt around one idea: making your plan easier to stick to.

  • Meet your coach — chat whenever you like, get timely nudges, and start with a gentle warm-up week. Free for everyone.
  • Sunday check-ins — weigh in, see your week's wins, and watch next week's plan adapt to how you actually did.
  • Progress that's real — points, levels, streaks and badges, plus a weight trend chart built on your actual weigh-ins.
  • Cooking mode — step-by-step instructions with built-in timers, and the screen stays awake while you cook.
  • Meal prep — batch-cook up to three times a week; your meal cards and shopping list adjust automatically.
  • Unlimited free swaps — swipe a meal card to browse alternatives and swap in one tap.
  • Better recipes — a refreshed catalogue of familiar, higher-protein meals you can cook on a weeknight.
  • Works offline — log meals and tick off shopping without signal; everything syncs when you're back.
