For sometimes you put your square off to the side of the map and then you cannot Retrieve it very well. ### 2/5 — Too many bugs *2025-12-08, version 13.10.4* This app has great potential, but until the bugs are fixed, it’s kinda useless to me as a business owner. I need things to work. I don’t need to have to repeat my work four times in one day simply because there’s a bug in the app. 1. I have a drawing with multiple polylines. I can tap on and change the colour/line style of only half of the lines. Sometimes the app simply refuses to actually select the line I am tapping on - instead, it will select some other line. This is a major problem when I need to indicate specific types of things with specific colours. 2. The undo history doesn’t work most of the time. 3. Ditto the redo history. 4. The delete/move modes, etc. (accessed by sliding the button from the lower-right corner) only works on pins, not polylines or polygons. ### 3/5 — draw function? *2025-10-23, version 13.10.3* Why isn’t there a function where you can draw the area with your finger? Was dismayed to see that the label for a town that is 18 miles and 45 minutes driving time distant is being shown less than 2.5 miles and 5 minutes away, in my town. This mistake only becomes apparent as the map zooms in; at zoom levels ‘further out’, the label relocates to its appropriate location. There is really no excuse for this type of inaccuracy in an app that is boasting about its value, compatibility and abilities. Until I see a correction it is unlikely that I would pony up any $$ to access features that are clearly faulty. ### 1/5 — Seems things have changed *2024-10-01, version 13.9.2* Have used this lots over the last few years. The google map was always quite clear in our large metro area (Msp) lately the google map has been pretty low resolution and the apple map has been far and away the better map. This would be fine if it was a super zoom map but it’s not. It has been great to use but recently it just seems to concentrate on getting money off you rather than getting the job done. Splash screeens wanting upgrades to over priced, gold plated versions. Not everyone wants these. I’ve paid once, I don’t want to be forced to pay again. Looking for a realistic alternative now. ### 1/5 — Total distance??? *2022-06-11, version 11.29* What happened to the Total Distance that was previously in the top left hand corner? Where is it now? Can’t find it. Being able to measure the total distance is the whole point of having the app in the first place. Please bring it back, then I’ll delete this feedback. The one star is merely to get your attention. Otherwise I love the app and have been using it for years. ### 1/5 — App not opening after update *2020-05-19* The app is not opening after getting the current update. It was supposed to fix he crash issue and it is now creating the crash issue ### 1/5 — App has become impossible to use *2019-12-12* I have used Measure Map for over 5 years. It has been my go to for measuring turf and bed areas when generating landscape bids. Recently however it has become almost impossible to use. Every time I zoom into an area, and then zoom out, the map will not refresh and I am left with a mostly blank screen. I have to completely close out the app and restart to get the map to reload. This is causing great frustration, and has more than tripled the amount of time it takes me to measure a job. Also, several times per job, the pins and polygons stop showing up as I am mapping them, which once again requires me to close out and restart the app to solve the issue. If measure map does not find a solution soon, I will be forced to look for new mapping software. **Developer response:** Please contact us at info@blueblinkone.com and we will try to find the bug in your case and solve it. ### 1/5 — Standard App no longer works Update *2018-10-26, version 10.8.1* Whatever you do all you get is pop up to get Pro version. Reinstalled and now works. Only a limited number points can be used. A few more would be nice. I'm now being told that I need to pay another £30 to enjoy the same functions, what the hell is that about?! Contacted to the developers, shock horror I never heard back. How do you get away with rescinding the features of the app that I have already paid for?! This is a shakedown pure and simple I want either the same access as I paid for or a full refund. Robbery! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Long time User *2025-11-17* I am in the asphalt business, and have been using MeasureMap for nearly 10 years at this point. At first, I didn’t trust the measurements and would go verify everything by hand. The margin of error was negligible …even less so now with all the experience i have drawing site maps up on MeasureMap. The multiple sources of satellite images reduce the amount of times i find myself without a good satellite image, with some being taken in the winter which helps with parking lots surrounded by trees. Anyone talking bad in their review clearly doesn’t know what they are talking about. The ONLY gripe i have about this app is the lack of the ability to group my drawn shapes into layers, so i can have the subtotals of different types of work totaled for me instead of having to manually go thru and separate anything i want in a separate group. Other than that this app is incredibly accurate and useful. I don’t write reviews, but i was checking the app store to see if there was an update for the app and i saw the reviews and thought “these guys have no idea what they are talking about” ### 5/5 — Great Measuring App *2025-06-23, version 13.10.3* I need to measure driveways and parking lots quickly for my job. Measure map pro saves me lots of time. I can measure a 60,000 sq ft parking lot in 2 minutes, when I would spent 45 minutes beforevto walk it off.
