For the “Pro” version! ### 1/5 — TRASH! w/ads *2018-10-18* No good! BAD. Tried three times to get a measurement and got interrupted by ads four times. Never got a measurement. TRASH. Deleted two minutes after purchase and taking the time to warn you not to bother. I got the $3.99 version on a free promo day. TRASH. The app couldn’t even figure out what size screen my phone has. Intro demo didn’t fit on screen. Tried turning screen to portrait mode to see if it would resize and the app won’t turn or resize. Not only were the initial directions not readable because they ran off the screen, but none of the app functions worked upon trying them. What I was measuring was clearly over a foot long and the app kept saying 3.45 inches. I tried it a number of times fast or slowly and I either got 3.45 inches a lot or 45 inches long. I am done with this app. I was hoping it would help me to quickly measure my projects but it has simply proven to be aggravatingly frustrating to me. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2018-09-10, version 2.3* Doesn’t work period and inundated by ads instead. It can not give you measurements accurately at all I’m using iPhone 8+ so it’s not the device it’s this chineseium junk app ### 1/5 — Does not work on iPhone X *2018-09-07* I had high expectations for a pro app that were quickly squashed with the poor performance. Even for the intro screen, it does not fit correctly into the window for the iPhone X. Then as I attempted to make my first measurement, and intrusive add comes up. I have immediately deleted the app. ### 1/5 — Tape measure pro *2018-09-04* Readings bear no resemblance to actual measurements. A 40 cm rule gave a reading of 279cm and also some small values. Even incorrect values were not repeatable. Sometimes readings were non zero after start was pressed but phone had not yet been moved. My operating system is iOS 11.4.1 on an iPhone 5s. There is no information on how a saved measurement can be erased. ### 1/5 — Total con *2018-09-04* It may work but you can’t know. Advert appears every time you try and use it to measure. Cheap attitude for this to be allowed on the App Store. It’s not even close to accurate. Even if it did work, It’s constant pop-up ads interfere with its utility. If that’s the case why would an ad pop up right in the middle of what I’m measuring, why is there an ad on a pay app in the 1st place. If it’s the free version, maybe you don’t advertise it as “free for a limited time” and don’t call it “Pro” just call it “Free”. What a bunch of crap. Next, the intro explains how to use the app for measurement, no matter how long of a measurement I make, it’s always 4.5”. I seem to be relegated to a world where everything is 4.5”. Like I said, don’t waste your time with this crap app, it’s a waste of memory space. ### 1/5 — Garbage...false advertising *2018-09-04* I got the pro version of this paid app on September 3 when it was special for FREE. Well a paid version that was free would have no ads right. The stinking ad pops up right when you are measuring. To top it off, after I closed the ad and tried to keep from moving a lot in the process, the measurement was off by 5 inches or more. I calibrated it agian, repeat process and same result.
