E.g. target internal temperature is 70°C, but I want to get an alert at 50°C so I can wrap in foil for example - Ability to enable ambient temperature alerts e.g. if ambient temp falls outside of 150°C +/- 10°C, so I know to adjust the vents on my BBQ smoker If these 2 features are added I will be amending my review to 5 stars! ### 3/5 — Funzione mancante *2026-04-01, version 1.1.3.2* Sarebbe molto utile avere una sveglia su un Range di temperatura dell’ambiente. The one thing that it’s missing is the ability to have a live activity, this would be a game changer! Sit and wait for it to fix itself, because the app won’t help. The probe has multiple consistent problems: 1) won’t seat right in the dock to charge (and there’s no indication if it’s seated right/wrong), 2) only charges while th dock is on(?), 3) spontaneously (and CONSTANTLY) disconnects while in use!!!! Absolutely 0 support in the app about why or how to fix/reconnect. Terrible product, terrible app. ### 4/5 — Good product *2025-11-09* I love this product what it really needs is an alarm for the external temp that you can set that way, I can monitor the smoker from a distance with the same probe. It works sometimes but most of the time it doesn’t. I have ran through the list of troubleshooting measures and am currently having to wing a long pork smoke because the probe is not connecting. After that it never connects to the app. I re install the app. Reset the probe. Reinstall everything and nothing works. It connects bluetooth, pairs and the o ce it says is ready to use it does not show as conected on the main screen. Avoid like the plague. Does not work. No way to message developer. Friends have tried to test it with their own and they were way off on their degrees. I’ve used this for multiple barbecues and on my smoker. The wife tries to take it from me for oven use also. I love the option of the countdown timer and the ambient temperature. I ended up buying one for my son-in-law and he loves it. He has used it for his brisket on the smoker.
