## What is Mebit?

An external memory for the things your brain drops. Mebit is your exocortex — drop a thought the moment you have it, then ask for it later in plain language.

SAY IT ALL AT ONCE
Talk the way you actually think. One breath can hold three unrelated things:
"We're out of coffee, Jamie's birthday is March 3rd, and remind me to flip the steaks in six minutes."
Mebit pulls that apart into separate notes and files each one where it belongs.

THEN JUST ASK
• "What do I need at the store?"
• "Where did I put the spare key?"
• "Anything I need while I'm out?"
• "What do I need at the store — and what else might I need?"
Mebit answers from your own notes, aware of where and when you are.

TWO BUTTONS. THAT'S IT.
• Capture — tap the Thought Well, speak, done. Three seconds of silence saves it.
• Ask — ask a question, get an answer drawn from your own notes.

OR DON'T OPEN IT AT ALL
"Hey Siri, drop this in Mebit" — then say the thing. It lands sorted, on the right shelf, without your screen ever coming on. Ask the same way: "Hey Siri, look it up in Mebit," and hear the answer back on a locked phone or in the car. Put it on your Action button or in Control Center and capture is one press from anywhere.

IT ACTS THE MOMENT YOU SPEAK
Say a date and Mebit offers to put it on your calendar. Say "in ten minutes" and it sets the reminder, and the countdown sits on your Lock Screen until it goes off. Mention a store and it offers to nudge you when you're there. Nothing to file, no forms — accept the offer or ignore it.

A WORKSPACE, NOT A TO-DO PILE
Pull up to find everything already sorted by what it actually is — Do soon, To get, Dates & plans, Ideas, Remember. Each shelf stays a single line until you open it. No wall of tasks staring back at you.

YOUR OWN PLACES
Name the places that matter — "my office," "Mom's house," the grocery store you actually use. Notes attach to them, and your shopping list groups by where you'll buy it. Place reminders are strictly opt-in and off by default.

FIX IT ON THE SPOT
Misheard a word? Edit the note, or just re-speak it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your notes live on your device. Nothing is sold, mined, or advertised against — ever.
• Optional iCloud backup, off until you turn it on, so deleting the app doesn't take your notes with it. The copy is in your own iCloud — we have no server and can't read it.
• On-device voice transcription. No account to create.
• Smart recall works on any iPhone with zero setup. Add Apple Intelligence or your own AI key (Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini) for richer, generative answers — you hold the key.

SHARE WITH YOUR INNER CIRCLE
Open a shared space with a partner or family member. Capture "we need toilet paper for the RV" and it appears for them too. Built on iCloud, shared only with the people you choose. Or send any list out as plain text anyone can read, copy, and act on.

Mebit no longer needs you to open it.

CAPTURE WITHOUT OPENING THE APP — "Hey Siri, drop this in Mebit," then say the thing. It gets pulled apart, sorted and filed exactly as if you'd spoken it into the app. Also on the Action button, in Control Center, in Shortcuts and Spotlight, and through CarPlay.

ASK OUT LOUD, HEAR THE ANSWER — "Hey Siri, look it up in Mebit." The answer comes back spoken, without the app opening — on a locked phone, in the car — and it still knows where and when you are.

REMINDERS ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN — Say "remind me to flip the steaks in six minutes" and the countdown sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, ticking, until it goes off.

FREE UP TO 150 NOTES — The 7-day trial is gone. Capture is free until your 150th open note, and marking things complete frees the space back up. Nothing else is ever locked: asking, editing, completing and deleting always work.

YOUR NOTES CAN SURVIVE DELETING THE APP — Turn on iCloud backup and a reinstall offers to bring everything back. Off until you choose it, stored in your own iCloud, unreadable by us.

IT CAN NOTICE WHAT YOU FORGET — Ask "what else might I need?" and the answer can draw on what you've bought before, not just what's still on the list. Needs Apple Intelligence or your own AI key.

MEBIT PICKS THE BEST FREE BRAIN YOUR PHONE HAS — If your iPhone supports Apple Intelligence, Mebit now uses it from the first launch instead of waiting for you to find the setting.
