There is a lot of grinding. You don't get more then 1-Mecha, and you can't really customize much eiter. Even more damaging then the lack of features is the movement system, this is in fact the most negative aspect of the game, it is not freeworld like most other Mecha Shooters are, in fact it is more like TRON, you are limited to front and rear movement, you can't use any accelerated movement up or down or side to side. - 1 Star- Functionality, While the game ran reasonably well most times, it was often extremely difficult to aim and hit several targets, also there was randomly some in game lag when being attacked by multiple targets at the same time. I feel I'm fighting against the controls - I just want to be able to point my mech where I want to go and then go there but that just seems too tricky ATM... Also, the left thumbs tick is a nice idea but too fiddly. Wer auch nur eines der Battletech-Bücher gelesen hat, empfindet die Developer's-Kommentare als schlichten Affront. Habs trotzdem probiert, weil ich die Reihe sehr mag, aber kann wirklich nur sagen - Finger weg, das ist nichts. In this game,you can't manipulate the machine itself.Only way to be able to play is;to control guns,to go or back,and so on. So,for the first time,you need to notice how to control the machine but know you can't move freely. I'm glad to say I found mech pilot to be one of the most fun mech games I have maybe even better than mech assault. There is a stop, you push forward to go and hit it second time to stop.
