Most details (and there are a lot of beautifully animated details) are too dark and/or too small to be seen. So 5 Stars for the details incl. sound, but not for the overall presentation. ### 3/5 — It’s neat to look at. *2018-08-14* It’s very dark, and the edges of everything blend into the darkness. The clock hands blend in and are difficult to see. The red tips could be much brighter. If there was an alarm clock, that you could set up with, and have it chime for a minute or so, it would make this clock more useful. Otherwise, it’s cool to look at. ### 2/5 — Not nice at all *2017-01-30* First of all this is a paid app. Secondly as soon as i install it i get a message that this might slow down my phone and that the developer needs to update it. Why the hell this warning wasn't given before else i wudnt have downloaded it. Just a scam. Die erweiterte Version sollte aber ein wenig mehr Funktionen haben, etwa einen besseren Blick in die Mechanik gönnen bei Bedarf, das würde auch dem Anspruch 3D noch besser gerecht werden. It's a great looking app, when it works, but it has a tendency to hang when opened leaving a blank screen. When this bug is fixed it will be great. Suggestion for future updates, include an alarm feature using the chimes. ### 4/5 — Very nice clock *2012-03-24* I loved everything about this from the look to the sound, but you can't tell what time it is Unless you're right in front of it because of low contrast between the hands and the face. The red tips help but not enough. Nope *2024-02-25* I downloaded this app as I have it on my MacBook Pro and I wanted to match wallpapers in all my devices, unfortunately this is not a live 3d wallpaper app as the one for MacBook, quite disappointing **Developer response:** Hello. Due to Apple App Store policy, our screensavers are not actual screensavers, they have the "screensaver mode". In order to use any wallpaper as a screensaver please set the "screensaver mode" in the Preferences of the live wallpaper. Moreover - if you click on "Hide Wallpaper", you won't even notice the wallpaper and the app will work in the "screensaver mode" only and run automatically after the settled period of time. You can also set the password for the "screensaver mode". OK up close but when sitting on a shelf the hands could be stronger and more defined. Also would be nice to have separate sound levels for hourly chim and the constant tick tick. Unter iOS funktioniert sie In keinster Weise. Nur nach dem öffnen der App läuft die Uhr, sobald man aber den Bildschirm berührt wird die App wieder geschlossen?????? What is seen is nice, but not as promoted *2022-02-16* You did a nice job w the inside gear movement that can be seen move a bit as your picture shows, but 1. It is not 3 Dimensional, deceiving referencing 3D. 2. Hard to tell time - why do you, the developer only respond to favorable ratings; there have been so many calls to make it easier to tell time but you don’t act on this simple fix; make the arms more visible, the red ends someone asked for eight years ago is not sufficient. 3. The idea is great, I imagine it is challenging to let us see inside and turn around as been commented eloquently by others; but we expected to see inside the gears, going in deeper into layers; zooming and turning in different directions. 4. Focus on making this live up to the promoted 3D instead of working on getting other cash revenue apps. 5. Have at least one clean cut modern material design instead of the 1800 century ornamental lavish curve design, to make it more viewable. 6.
