At first it’s really fun (I didn’t pay attention to the plot whatsoever) but it does start to get repetitive and the mech design feels like it hits a wall at a certain point. I would like more combination of parts and experimenting with design, but it feels more like picking mechs as a whole based on their role and the design aspect dies out. Perhaps more complex than it needs to be but it’s easier to milk people when there are so many upgrade hurtles and massive requirements for minor benefits. That, however, is not the problem. Shifting the core Tactical gameplay of problem solving to forced one way only puzzle simulation is outrageous. They hook you in with the freedom of choice early game system then take all agency away after you are heavily invested in both time and money. This bait and switch trash should not be allowed. Thankfully I discovered this sham through Reddit before I got too invested but it’s the only real tactical mech game on iOS so I’m screwed anyway. This developer will not be receiving my time or money in the future. The only way to stop this behavior is with reviews and no one playing because if you support it they will not change this money grab BS in the future. I have no problem dropping $50/week on IGP if it’s a good game. Thankfully I discovered their scam early. ### 1/5 — I’m done with this game that wants to be a job. *2026-05-08, version 1.7.4* Ya know at first I was really liking this game. Decent looking robots. Pretty good game play. But, now… Too hard. Too time consuming Too much to deal with It’s a device gotcha game that takes itself WAYYY too seriously. I just want to be able to pull on some stuff, make a few teams grind out a few pieces of gear, get done and walk away. Not with this game. Every fight takes at a minimum of 15 minutes. Heaven help you if you make a mistake because then you gotta do it over again. Boss game text is War & Peace length, loaded with gimmicks to where you just can’t auto this thing. Team building is a chore and there are multi-team fights you have to do. Look, you wanna pay me, then yeah, I’ll put up with this heinous slog. But, I PAY YOU. So, there better be some entertainment in it for me. There isn’t- this game is NOT fun. I would take this up with support but there is no where on the main site to do so. I can’t bind my email from outlook with this game, every time I try it says system busy. So I decided to try it again after a year and man…This game is just fantastic in so many ways. Very sound mechanically, awesome graphics and animations. The strategy part is on point. The story is great too. The game, being a gatcha, is very generous, compared to others. So glad I reinstalled, still playing daily. If you’re a lover of XCOM like me. Trust.
