New: Faculty Entrance Exams Previously, every specialist faculty unlocked at once after you completed all Basic Medical Science lessons and passed the Final Exam. From this version, each faculty has its own Entrance Exam, so you can enroll in exactly the faculty you want, whenever you are ready. There are two routes. If you have already passed the Basic Final Exam, every Entrance Exam is free and the pass line is 60%. If you have not passed it yet, you can still sit any Entrance Exam for an entrance fee of 50 points. The pass line is set a little higher: 80% for Medicine and 70% for the other faculties. The fee is not refunded if you do not pass. Every Entrance Exam is 10 questions. Tapping a locked faculty tab opens a confirmation dialog showing your route, the pass line and the fee, so you always agree before anything is charged. Faculties you have been admitted to are marked on their tab. Take the Basic Final Exam Anytime The Basic Final Exam no longer requires you to finish every Basic Medical Science lesson first. You can attempt it at any point, and passing it makes every Entrance Exam free with a 60% pass line. Exam Content Matched to Real Licensing Exams The English curriculum adds Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Community Medicine and Forensic Medicine to the Entrance Exam lineup. Questions are written to match the scope of the real licensing examination for each faculty and region, including USMLE, UKMLA, NCLEX, NBCE, GOsC and NExT. User Manual Now Opens From the App Flip over the student ID card in Settings and you will find a new User Manual button below Official Website. It opens the online manual, which is available in seven languages. More Accurate Exam Scoring Fixed an issue in the Basic Final Exam where answers from the earlier questions could fall outside the range the AI reviewed, so the final number of correct answers did not always match what you had actually answered. The full 10-question answer history is now kept through to the end and used for scoring. The new Entrance Exams are scored the same way. Student ID Card Display Fix Fixed an issue where the back of the student ID card in Settings was cut off by the card directly below it. The front and back are now measured separately so the whole card is readable. Other Fixes Updated the AI model name shown in Settings to the current version. Points: 1 message = 1 point. The Entrance Exam fee is 50 points, or free once you have passed the Basic Final Exam. ### 1.1.7 — 2026-06-06 WHAT'S NEW IN v1.1.7 (performance & billing only) 1. FASTER VOICE PLAYBACK The professor's spoken reply is now generated and played sentence by sentence, so the first audio begins in a few seconds instead of after the full reply. Same server-side pipeline as v1.1.6 (STT via /medatlas/api/stt, TTS via /medatlas/api/tts). No change to data handling -- no audio stored. 2. RELIABLE PLAYBACK FALLBACK If cloud TTS fails, the app falls back to the device's built-in speech so reading is not interrupted. A status indicator (Preparing / Speaking) is shown, and playback can be skipped instantly. 3. FREE LESSON-START MESSAGE The auto-generated opening message at the start of a lesson is no longer charged points (billing logic only; applies to first-time and review sessions). 4. BACKEND VOICE MODEL MAINTENANCE Server-side OpenAI TTS/STT model identifiers were updated to current versions. This is a server-side change only -- no client permissions, endpoints, or data handling were affected. 5.
