### 2/5 — Poor app

*2026-07-01, version 3.1.1*

Not impressed. When the browser experience is better than the app, you know it’s a bad app.

### 3/5 — Constant bugs

*2026-04-15, version 3.0.9*

Horrible ability to save information. Constant have to re-input my information; state of practice, discipline, etc. it doesn’t save anything. Doesn’t save the courses you’re in the middle of taking when the app decides to stop working. It’s just bad

### 3/5 — Almost great

*2025-10-26, version 3.0.8*

This app is very convenient for CEUs in the go. It’s good, but is missing some key features that are missing that could make it great: links to the certification prep programs, the ability to watch lectures in landscape, be able to adjust which aspect of the lecture is the focus (speaker or slides), and be able to watch picture-in-picture. If those features were added, this app would be incredibly valuable.

### 2/5 — Good content, poor app

*2025-08-07, version 3.0.7*

The iPhone app is not user friendly at all. Among the issues: each time I log in I have to start over in searching for content I want to see. There’s no algorithm that shows me content that I favor. That would be no big deal, as I could bookmark courses that I want to take, right? Except there’s no way to recall bookmarked courses. I have to search them (again and again) and they just turn up in the search results as if they were never bookmarked. The bookmark section does not display my bookmarked courses. This becomes extra annoying because the app will log out at times for no apparent reason, and when you log back in, it doesn’t put you back in at the place you left off. You have to search the course (again), then try to find the place where the course was when you got dropped. There’s also a glitch when you get to the end of a course and do the quiz, it prompts you to proceed to the survey but doesn’t allow you through with a prompt to complete the course. The prompt takes you back to the course start page, then you must click back through to the start of the survey and access it. The iPhone app developers have some work to do.

### 3/5 — Slides are half hidden

*2025-05-07, version 3.0.6*

The slides that accompany the presentation are half obscured by the pause/play control bar. You can scroll up and down to see the whole slide, but you can only see part of the slide at once. This makes it especially difficult when there is a diagram that you want to analyze. I called and they said that there is no fix for this at this time. It’s disappointing.

### 2/5 — UI is much less useful

*2025-02-22, version 3.0.5*

Issues are too many to list.

### 2/5 — UI far less functional

*2025-02-16, version 3.0.5*

Just trying to do a search for a topic, you have to re-enter the search term every single time after you’ve looked at one course. The courses don’t need gigantic graphics, there need to be multiple choices on your screen to look at it once, just everything about it is clunkier.

### 3/5 — This is my favorite app, but so glitchy recently

*2025-02-09, version 3.0.5*

The app started to glitch today. It would play a video, then stop working, then I’d close the app but the audio would still be playing. When I re-open the lecture, it would play 2 overlapping audios from the same video. I tried using it just now again, and the video just stopped playing. It’s not my internet. I turned my phone off and on, and reset the app several times. Please fix!

### 2/5 — Add Certification Prep Courses

*2024-11-18, version 3.0.3*

Currently the app is very minimalistic and does not allow you to view the preparatory courses as you can on the browser version, making it challenging to switch between devices.

### 3/5 — App is glitchy

*2024-11-02, version 3.0.3*

The app consistently tells me I cannot advance to the survey because I have unfinished sections, making me rewatch only a few seconds of each section even though I watched each section in its entirety. Very frustrating & time consuming. Also, I am unable to view courses I have completed & download certificates from the app.

### 3/5 — App Probs

*2024-09-02, version 2.4.2*

Courses are fine, but seems the app is always crashing.

### 2/5 — App is buggy

*2023-12-09, version 2.3.3*

Can’t start a new course within the app and it constantly asks me to log in any time I back out of the app

### 4/5 — Great overall product, needs minor app improvements

*2023-09-13, version 2.3.2*

The content and courses through Med Bridge are excellent, and it has been one of my go-to sources for CEUs for several years now. I especially like the way it separates your license effective dates, so it is easy for CEU courses to correspond with a given license renewal cycle.

Regarding the app: Given the evolution of mobile technology and devices, and their use with many apps such as MedBridge, it is disappointing that the app does not allow a picture-in-picture type mode, that would allow the video to continue playing, but also let us as users access other functions on our phones/devices. I understand there are considerations for us as therapists needing to pay attention to the material in order to receive CEU credit, but being able to open a web browser and Google a concept from a course would be helpful.

This is further exacerbated by the way the app performs poorly when being minimized and then reengaged. I don’t understand the need for the repeated login/faceID recognition when I have navigated away from the app for 5-10 seconds to check an alert or something else on my phone. Once I’ve opened the app and logged in, it would be nice if login wasn’t required again unless the app was completely closed. And many times when returning to the app it doesn’t resume to course where I actually left off, but often skips back to the middle of a previous chapter.

Thanks for a great overall product/service, my comments are meant to be constructive, not critical!

### 4/5 — Great App

*2023-05-08, version 2.3.2*

The interface is clean and easy to navigate. I enjoy the variety of content and that it’s available in short sessions. The regular quizzes and comprehension checks are fantastic.

Please, please improve compatibility with iPad OS! I’ve tried exporting course handouts to note taking apps (Notability in particular) and it doesn’t seem to work. I like to use Split View to take notes while I watch the video, so this would be helpful.

Very good otherwise.

### 3/5 — Login Support

*2022-08-12, version 2.2.0*

Logging in on iPhone and having to retype the email and password is tedious. A quick login pin would be much easier and efficient, especially when the application crashes

### 3/5 — No way to generate HEP from app

*2022-02-13, version 2.1.0*

I’m a home health SLP and it would be nice to be able to generate an exercise program, and have patients view videos from the app. Please add this feature!

### 4/5 — Great but needs speed adjustment feature

*2021-12-18, version 2.1.0*

I love the app. It’s so nice to be able to listen to courses and get CEU’s on the go. I’m not sure why it doesn’t allow you to change the speed of the video playback like it allows you to on the website version though. Because of this, I end up utilizing it less and end up just watching from my laptop. That’s the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Money not well spent

*2025-09-26, version 3.0.7*

I spend hundreds of dollars a year for the app to sign me out every time I open a course and when I try to sign in again it logs me out when I click the course again. I tried deleting and re downloading, downloading on a different device, trying new courses etc but nothing works. Waste of money will not ever resubscribe if it’s not fixed in the next few weeks

### 1/5 — Function Bar

*2025-04-18, version 3.0.6*

Broken

### 1/5 — Ridiculous

*2025-03-09, version 3.0.5*

Bought a PT con ED course on the Medbridge website and now I have to pay an extra $400 a year to just to access it on the app? No thanks. That’s ridiculous.

### 1/5 — New UI is less functional

*2025-01-30, version 3.0.4*

The new course UI is way less helpful, now you cannot change the size of the video vs the slides and can’t go into landscape mode. Now, I’m stuck with watching the video on my iPad, with a large control panel that blocks the lecture slides, which have all of the important content. This takes away from the ease of learning.

### 1/5 — The App is GARBAGE

*2024-12-16, version 3.0.4*

This is a garbage app.

### 1/5 — Not optimized for iPad

*2024-09-19, version 3.0.0*

The recent update is not optimized for the iPad. The screen resolution is way too large and the buttons are way too big.

### 1/5 — Horrible!!!!

*2024-08-11, version 2.4.2*

Do NOT waste your time or money!!!

### 1/5 — Terrible ipad App

*2023-09-20, version 2.3.2*

Lectures are non adjustable so while you can see the person taking up 4/5 of the screen, the part you need to read is very small.

### 1/5 — This is ABSOLUTELY INSANE!

*2021-11-23, version 2.0.2*

I went to Kaiser for my back problems. They did nothing but sent me to this app that charged me $400! I just want my back fixed, i have NO use for this app otherwise and want my money back!

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2021-06-08, version 1.9.6*

Doesn’t allow me to assign HEPS

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Certification Tab missing on the app

*2024-05-21, version 2.4.1*

The app is a great feature. It would be beneficial to have the certification/CEU completed tab that allows you to download your CEU from the app directly.

### 5/5 — Hard to beat

*2024-03-31, version 2.3.4*

For the price excellent courses, good home exercise program that patients enjoy.

### 5/5 — Very convenient

*2022-11-10, version 2.3.1*

So easy to access, take anywhere and navigate.

### 5/5 — Really convenient!

*2022-03-22, version 2.1.0*

The app has been a great way to pick up CE hours in a way that fits my schedule. I walk to work each day and listening and completing courses thru the app has been great!!!

### 5/5 — Quality

*2021-01-10, version 1.9.5*

The quality of the neuro courses has been great!

### 5/5 — Really nice app!

*2020-11-01, version 1.9.5*

These app has been really great in supporting my learning because it’s so easy to watch a chapter at a time, so I can participate for 15 minutes or a full course period. Reliable saves my spot in all classes I’ve started, so even if i pause for an interruption, I can easily return to where I was. Courses I’ve taken have been high quality and instructors easy to listen to. Quite impressed overall.

### 5/5 — Needs option to download course

*2020-10-22, version 1.9.5*

It would be nice to be able to download a course’s video and quiz for viewing while in airplane mode for traveling.

### 5/5 — Educative and time saving

*2020-10-19, version 1.9.5*

I am very pleased at the amount of topics listed to further my competency in the areas where I practice and so many other areas I want to learn more in. I am able to pause at any point in time save and return where I left off. So important to have this ability in our busy lifestyles.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend for OTs

*2020-09-21, version 1.9.5*

I have been pleasantly surprised with the course that is offered through MedBridge. I find them much more interactive than other online courses I’ve taken and feel that the instructors are well versed in the subjects.

### 5/5 — Love

*2020-09-03, version 1.9.5*

I love medbridge! And I also love their easy to use app :)
