Very excited to find this app for us as well recommending to my husband’s patients. However, that was not to be. The first visit was perfect. The second visit would not play back and you could not read the transcripts. Each time I would press to hear the visit, it would take me back to the app. I sent messages through the app and email. NO RESPONSE An appt that only works 50% of the time is a poor app. ### 1/5 — What I got was gobbledegook *2023-11-18* Very disappointed. Recorded very important meeting with oncologist. Very small room so should have been clear. The recording basically made no sense and missed basically all medical terms Couldn’t tell who was talking Very disappointing ### 3/5 — Medcorder BLoCKED Me *2026-04-27* So I forgot my phone was on airplane mode while trying to set up the account with my phone number- I didn’t receive my code due to airplane mode- once I realized what was going on - I redownloaded the app to try again and the app said they have blocked all further requests from my phone number due to suspicious activity. ### 3/5 — It works but not consistently *2024-05-28* I’ve been using it for quite some time. Accuracy is not always correct. Today I made a short 30 sec recording and the words were off. Also, the app now crashes every time I attempt to view the transcript. Good interface. We were scared, had a bazillion questions, and were overwhelmed by all the worst-case scenarios we’d imagined. Our daughter was also present, and I knew there would be no way I could take notes fast enough to be able to review all that would be covered in that half hour. Out of desperation I found this Medcorder app, and quickly realized I now had a tool that would let me actually LISTEN to what was being said rather than stress out about what I might be missing. We have an audio recording of the meeting, we were provided with a written transcript, and we are confident that we are moving in the right direction. Thank you, Medcorder!
